Jenkinson loves the club, doesn't mean he has any business playing for us.

Wenger bottled 4 titles, 3 of them after the Invincibles season.

Had he won just one of them his legacy would be entirely different, but he didn't.

Wenger's track record in the league is absymal, he underachieved.

Even when we were at our best and had more talented squads than United we never won consecutive titles.

Ferguson always kept pace with Wenger even when we were superior on paper and blew us out of the water when they were better.

Wenger was a great manager, SAF is the GOAT.

He must know his chances of getting another job are zero as the world watches Emery try and deal with the utter shambles Arsene created at Arsenal ...

if being out of the UCL for two seasons is shambles, I'd take such shambles every single day.

Without any super owner backing him, Wenger achieved miracles at Arsenal. Was he out of his depth by his finals years? Sure, he was. But that doesn't nullify his epic moments with Arsenal F.C.

Arsenal have never been as successful as it was under Wenger. It's a fact.

It's time we recognized his greatness. If only we had unlimited money as United, Chelsea, and City have had in the Prem era, we'd be far better off.

lucidity. priceless. well said , Ang

............ because spending lots of money is something Wenger loved to do?

Wenger literally won't even take a job (Madrid, PSG etc) where spending your way to a title is practically a requirement.

Arsene always loved the philosophy more than he did winning, unlike Alex Fergusson.

All you guys have is hatred for Wenger. Look at yourself.

You know inside your heart that we're f***ked with this ownership and we don't have a manager like Wenger who loved the club.

Please explain it to that guy who posted above you.

You know it. Wenger was past it. But he was the only one who loved Arsenal.

Wenger did what was right. Unlike SAF, he wasn't managing the richest club around. You know that. You know it.

He loved his philosophy more than he loved the club and that is the truth, when they started to undermine that philosophy that is what pushed him to leave.

Also I don't doubt he loved the club ......... that doesn't mean your right for the job though.

If you were being honest you'd admit that Wenger had years longer with his achievements in the last decade than any manager would ever have got, twice or even three times as long as a manager at any other top 4 club.

Barca, Madrid, City would of cut him years ago ......... now look where we are.

I put most blame on Kroenke, but my issue with Arsene is that he supported Kroenke for two reasons, £10m per year wages and his string budget (which has got worse) fitted Wenger's vision of developing players......... all that before the success of the club may I add.

We've endured that for too long.

Yeah just 20 of 22 seasons in the top four and Europe’s elite is a real shambles. Good thing he’s gone and now we can fight for sixth. After all 6 is greater than 4.

If you don't believe that a manager who said "Because we arrive to a level where the money at stake for players who are free is so big, and the transfers are so big, that the players think ‘it’s better I go to the end of my contract, and if I don’t get the whole integrity of the transfer now, if I get only half, it’s a huge amount of money, so very shortly players will no longer sign 4/5/6 year contracts" a manager who was so arrogant that he then proceeded to put that philosophy into practice, allowing Arsenal players to run down contracts, even whilst his main rivals were all doing the exact opposite, if you don't believe he's the primary cause for our financial meltdown .... then best never get involved in finance

Gazidis and Wonger presided over the biggest feck up in our history ... taking one of the top ten richest clubs in the World and running them into a financial black hole ....but hey he finished fourth a lot .... so yea "best manager ever"

How does one force a player to extend their contract?

But he was crucified for doing that when he sold RVP. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

He did the right thing with RvP. When RvP backed out of signing a new contract, he took the only offer available 24m from Utd .... that money went 50% towards buying Cazorla, Giroud, Monreal and Podolski .... we got them all of them for a combined 50m ....

If he'd waited a year with RvP we'd have got nothing ....

It was only after he had that top secret lobotomy that we started intentionally letting players run down contracts to nothing ... Arshavin - Denilson - Fabianski - Sagna - Bendtner - Diaby - Miyaichi - Podolski - Rosicky - Sanogo - Wilshere - Cazorla - Ramsey .... if we'd got just 10m each (and you get 10m for the tea lady these days) that's another 130m we'd have in this summer's budget .... it was an epic fail and for the life of me I have no idea why Gazidis and Wonger let it happen ... it just defies any busy logic

Lol most of those guys were turds or crocks. No one was going to pay anything for them other than Ramsey. And wenger was gone before Ramsey entered his last 12 months.
But nice try blaming everything on wenger.

Well he did sign all of the turds and crocks ... but whatever ....

Every single one of those players entered the last two years of their contracts under Wenger - seriously are you really this naive about business?

First - What are you even saying is that even English? .... you know this is now club policy, why? because Gazidis and Wonger f***ked up .....

“We need to make sure we are really disciplined. A good example of that is senior players that aren’t towards the end of their careers. We need to make sure that those players, when they’ve got two years left on their contract, we’re making the difficult decisions.

“We’re either renewing those players’ contracts, or we’re selling those players. So we’re going to have to be brave with those decisions along the way, because we can’t be in a situation where we are allowing players to walk out the door for free unless they are coming towards the end of their career.”

Raul Sanllehi

Or do you know something different?
