Don't they have other times in the season they can register players? although I agree it's highly unlikely we will see hime play for Arsenal again.

We can after the winter transfer window but it's just highly unlikely because the relationship between the player, club and a manager have broken down completely.

Ozil is a very hot and cold player, he has some amazing matches but also plenty of very poor matches

However we can all agree that we are having a extremely hard time creating chances, every Premiership game this season except Fulham we are barely creating any chances.. its a huge problem and worry. Ozil's main attribute is creation, he is poor in many other areas, but he does create a lot with crafty sneaky balls through too the strikers and does have some flair.

Its total madness that we can't even have him on the bench too come on. This season is ruined because everything will always come back too "where is Ozil", its too late now, he can't play, and if after January they change thier mind.. he will be totally unfit and badly out of shape, it will take him a long time to get match fit.. he just plays video games and drives his car, he does not training anymore. It will take such a long time to get him back.

yes. The deed is now done. It was a horrendous mistake by Arteta that will probably cost him his job - it deserves to cost him his job unless he gets top 4.

Agreed. Awful mistake by Arteta and everyone else at the club. IF we had lots and lots and lots of creation then I'd let it fly, but we struggle so badly to create chances, and it doesn't matter who we play in the Prem, we are one of the lowest for goals scored and chances created, its a massive problem.

TOP 4 will be so very difficult, we know about the certain big teams like Man City and Liverpool and Chelsea, but teams like Leicester are way better than us these days, they actually create tons and tons of chances every game! ya know because they have creative players.

Ozil?

I would take Grealish over Ozil - right now.

Wouldn't want to spend more than £30m on him and Villa would ask for silly money.

Ozil still has better vision and ability than Grealish, not even close, but Grealish is better suited to our current team.

Everyone ignoring as per usual if Ozil finally f***ked off we should of just brought another attacking creative player who is good, consistent and doesn't hide in big games like Ozil all his career especially away from home.

We lack creativity, we all agree. I've been saying for coming on 18 months now we need a new attacking mid. Ozil is finished and Arteta's deficiencies at getting anything out of the little creativity we have with Ceballos and Willian is being lapped up by Ozil's marketing team.

Very Convenient we seem to forget Ozil played 10 games at AM under Arteta. Grand total of 1 goal, 1 assist and we still struggled to score goals and create anyway.

Nobody has forgotten anything, we were not creative imbeciles in those games Ozil played though, that is the big difference. It makes no difference if Ozil created the final ball for the goal, the fact he contributed in some part to us not being so shit is the point.

Should have got grealish,
My only criticism of him is he is sometimes too greedy.

You fundamentally misunderstand the game of you think creativity = goals + assists.
No player in our squad has even got close to being as good as Ozil up to the end of 2018 and in the last 2 years Ozil was still one of the most creative players in our team.
1st in many areas.

Arteta destroyed

I think at this stage it is clear that Arteta has made a complete hash of not just the Ozil situation but several other players and the playing style of the whole team. He's failing miserably and really should be thinking about resigning. He's in way way over his head.

It does in the final 3rd. We don't pay someone 350k a week for expected assists or some other flimsy stat bollocks. We pay him not just to make nice passes but to be effective at the end of them and achieve numbers which leads to results and Arsenal succeeding.

He needs to score minimum 5 goal and try to make double figures if possible.

We expect him to hit a minimum of 10 assists to justify his price tag, considering he's not play DLP, he's an attacking mid, a player playing that high up the pitch needs to directly making goals happen, if he's not he's no use to us.

He did this from 2015 to 2017 but since then he's shit. Plain shit, a steaming pile of horse manure.

Imagine having a player who was only second to Lionel fkin Messi in chances created and assists until 2019; who created the most chances in the 2010 World Cup, who created the second-most chances to Messi in the 2014 World Cup, who created the most chances for Germany in the 2018 World Cup... And he's not good enough when we have no creative players in the squad?

What the f**k?
