But his declining effectiveness also ain't wrong.

The china comments really pissed off the club, but due to pr they couldnt drop him for it. But the moment he questioned the clubs intentions with pay cut they had their excuse and had something they could please the chinese commies. Either way the club has been lying through its teeth and its insult for the manager to come out and lie over and over to the fans. He can do one as far as Im concerned. This team has zero creativity and again we saw last night and they tell us Ozil couldnt contribute nothing. We are bottom 3 in terms of creating and shooting on goal in the league

Did Emery also keep him out of the team because of the China comments?

Face it, the guy is no good and he doesn't care about playing football at the top level. I don't care if we don't have a single shot on target for the rest of the season, Ozil still isn't the answer.

Koulibaly has also spoken publicly about the Uighur issue and yet is starting every game at Napoli.

Ozil isn't Solzehnitsyn, banished because he dared to dissent. He had the entire summer window to go elsewhere. It's his own fault that only Al Sadd are willing to propose a deal that can match his current terms.

Did emery banish him? Also Emery and Arteta are very similar managers. Basically Spanish David Moyes. Fvck them and their disgusting football. What we are watching is disgusting

Let’s do this one more time.
We have only registered Xhaka, Ceballos, El Neny and Partey as midfielders. That’s 4 out of 25 players.
We are unable to create chances. Even at home.
Won’t these two facts convince people not registering Ozil was a mistake?
We are not talking about starting him. We are talking about not registering thereby not even giving us the option of bringing him on when we are chasing a game.

There are only 3 things certain in life; death, taxes and people mentioning Özil every time we lose.

an't even remember his last good performance. The Özil you all dream of died a long time ago.

You f***ers act like Arteta dropped Messi. Mesut has been poverty since 2018

Koulibaly and Mahrez deleted their tweets immediately thereafter. They followed club directives. Ozil didn't.

When did we see a last good Arsenal performance? You act like we are Barcelona 2008 at the moment. We are poverty as well.

Emery dropped him, and reverted back to selecting him. He had the Neymar hangover when he came here. You can't use a coach who failed here, who was sacked for his incompetence, as a justification for what Arteta pulled off.

You don't know if he cares or not. What we know is that he's still a Gunner. He's still the second highest paid player here. As Ozil's agent commented, Wenger didn't omit Arteta from the squad in his final two seasons here even when Arteta had lost his legs.

Ozil isn't our worst player. As long as he's on the payroll, one would expect a tactical coach to use him accordingly. He need not start or play every game. You could select him in the EL and the cups, whilst dropping him in the League.

Any one with brain cells can gauge that this isn't a move entirely motivated by form and consistency. It's time people accepted this and moved on.

Ozil won't be here next season. Arteta will be. And he will be in hot water if he can't help us gel as an attacking unit.

The onus was never and isn't on Ozil. It's on Arteta.

Who is Koulibaly ? Ozil is a global superstar. Koulibaly has 350K Twitter followers, Ozil as 25m Twitter followers. Thats like saying "my mate Dave spoke publicly about Uighurs and still has his job at Primark.

Ya know the funny bit?

Ozil has more Twitter followers than Arsenal, ManU, Chelsea, and City, whilst being the single most followed player in English football.

He’s mentailty and phyicaly done brother. There is absolutely no doubt about . You can't even do a berbatov where you play him in the home against bottom half sizes because he is happy not playing plus

Ozil has been rubbish for the last two seasons. Since the LC home game under Emery.

Guys like you Swipright like u are 10x worse then me for pointing out the obvious, a thinking a player who hasn’t been world class since 2018 is bigger than the club are worse

Just a gentle reminder registered 4 assists in his last 2 seasons. The problems lie deeper than Mesut Effin Ozil.

He'd have made no difference tonight considering he made one assist in all of Arteta's 13 games in charge before Covid shut things down.

KSE need to get £15m transferred in Özil’s account and get rid of him. The whole situation is becoming a side show, it’s becoming embarrassing. Pay him up and f**k him, his agent

A good manager will find a way to bring out the best in an aging player. You don’t lose the quality and the experience just because you lose the agility. If he’s not motivated, it’s down to the manager to motivate him. Guys like Pirlo played deep into their 30s even when they were a shadow of their former selves because they were managed well. Meanwhile we have ZERO creative midfielders and are struggling to create anything. Let’s not cut off our nose to spite our face yeah.
