For prem from 13/14 I have Ozil 51 and Silva 49 (incl this season)

For Europe I have Ozil 11 and Silva 7 (Ozil has 6 in the CL)

I don't have FA Cup or League cup stats.

Either way this is a pointless comparison. The assists per season stat does not actually contradict anything that Ozil's defenders have said. Ozil had a great season in 2015/16 and a decent one in 2016/17 (notice that he had his best goalscoring season that year). The other three years his tallies are only low because of his minutes played.

In 13/14 he only had 25 appearances for 2150 minutes
In 2014/15 he only had 21 appearances for 1860 minutes
In 2017/18 he only had 24 appearances for 2164 minutes

In those 3 seasons he had 9, 5 and 8 assists respectively. In 2015/16, Ozil played 3049 minutes for us. If we extrapolate his assists in the three seasons for that game time we get:

(3049/2150)*9 = 12.76 ~ 12 assists
(3049/1860)*5 = 8.19 ~ 8 assists
(3049/2164)*8 = 11.24 ~ 11 assists

So if he played more minutes it's reasonable to expect him to break your mystical 10 assists per season. So the real complaint shouldn't be his lack of assists but his lack of game time.

But none of this matters because you've already made your minds up anyway.
