Apart from the latest tweets and the being dropped situation I don't know why people are still talking about Ozil like he's a potential option, he's not part of the squad any more, not registered.

What is there left to talk about? he'll never play another game for AFC ever again.

Every time we fail to play creative attacking football, Ozil is going to be mentioned.
It's a crazy situation - Ozil having a bad game is better creatively than anyone we have in the squad.

Bollock its pie in the sky crap, stuff made of fantasy,
The guy simply ain't an option anymore.
I wished he could play to show how shit he was. I was never a fan other than his run of games to get his contract. He has not been seen for dust since.

Figures said how poor Ozil was his last two seasons, goals and assists.
Can someone take his assists from corners off his overall numbers,
Then we would see how many assist he had from these technical passes.

He's creating a media shit-storm classless w***er ... just go away nobody other than his fanboys want him here anymore.

Loool you are losing it EK, that's why you are incapable of rationale argument.

Despite your outburst you have still not shown where Ozil has shown disrespect to his employers.

Rips arteta and the club to shreds

Arteta and the club brutalised in that interview. He raises so many valid points, I didn't believe Arteta's explanation anyway because it made no sense to me. Its clear.to me its just a bunch of bullcrap that sidesteps the real reason why Ozil is not playing.

This Dr Erkut can get in the bin tbf . Openly talking about the clubs “supposed” lack of class is in of itself a pretty classless act. Carry on and we’ll gladly escort you and your client out of our club. You aren’t bigger than us.

The unwillingness to play anywhere else are the failings here for Oezil. I don’t care what the issue is, my Manager has made a decision and I back him. It’s not like we had prime Özil before the pandemic break....

..4 assists in 2 years, lucky goal against Newcastle + Özil
I really liked Oezil up until the Baku but it is what it is now HH.

Soooo nothing to say or show why Dr Erkut is wrong. Thanks buddy.

Let me get this straight, Arteta is telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth just because HE said it and Ozil/Dr Erkut are telling fibs. Gotcha.

Rubbish Arteta came in at a difficult time, rejuvenated the club, brought positivity & belief in the team. Won a couple trophies

Oezil who hasn't done well on the pitch since late 2017, pulling out cheap PR stunts & who's agent is openly taking shots at our Manager.

Whom are u supporting?

Mate stay on topic, you seem to be getting yourself all twisted up in your knickers

Address my comment that Ozil has never stated he hates anyone. All I see is a bunch of hormonal emotional wrecks having a pop at him for no reason

Playing the victim how? He is stating facts. Touchy people or people with agendas or something to hide don't like facts.

Still waiting for someone to show me how he has disrespected his employers.

This would only make sense if Ozil had never been successful. The not now at least ending doesn't save it based on the original context of what Swipe Right wrote.

I have nothing to hide I can't stand the guy I just think he is a bloodsucking self centered troll. But that's just my opinion. The sooner he goes the better the club and team will be.

That's because you're a deluded fanboy - go read any one of 100 media pieces on the subject, from refusing to shake his manager's hand to political comments in breach of club rules .... but you know all that you just choose to ignore it, as all fanboys ignore their hero's failings, we get it.

Ozil speaking out against the club and Arteta shows that he's not particularly interested in playing football for Arsenal anymore, because he must know that frequently undermining the club in public is not going to do him any favours or help him retain a place in the side. You can think his criticism is justified but to me it reeks of him being far more concerned about winning a PR war than actually playing for Arsenal or winning a place in the side.

He's known since the end of last season he's no longer wanted here. Frankly, I get the impression he doesn't value making the most of the remainder of his playing career, or at least not above enjoying his life in London and earning his fortune at Arsenal. He's entitled to do that, of course—we offered him that deal—but to believe he's staying at Arsenal out of loyalty is frankly absurd. He was happy to run down his last contract and bleed as much money from the club as he could when he was still a wanted man, and now talks about loyalty when it's convenient for him.

Also, disclaimer—I don't believe Aubameyang stayed out of loyalty either. I think he stayed because the money was right and a place in Arteta's project was important to him, along with other nominal factors (e.g. his lifestyle in London, his popularity amongst the squad). If Aubameyang came out talking about how he stayed simply because of loyalty I wouldn't believe it either.

A corner is a technical pass.

I strongly disagree if a professional player is not capable of hitting in a corner he shouldnt be playing.
f**k me Ozil takes corners because he seldom heads a ball so no point being in the box, cant defend so no point staying back in defence, and cant shot so no point hanging on the edge of the area

But dude look at the system we have played the last two years. Emeryball where we couldn’t string two passes together followed by Arteta adoption of 5 at the back leaving just two midfielders. How does a ten function in such systems?
