Says a lot about Arteta than Cazorla doesn’t want to be a player coach for him. If players were expecting big things they’d stay.

Why is he leaving? His mate is about to become our manager!

Maybe he wants to go back to Spain and have one last crack of playing football full time before he thinks about coaching?

Maybe he doesn’t want to be a coach?

I saw a bloke on the train this morning and he was looking a bit sad.

Must be because he's heard we are going to appoint Arteta.

Maybe he knows he can't compete at this level anymore?

I don't think the club would give him a new contract with these new wage ruels

Some unlucky breaks with the injuries, but such is life. Wish him well.

Wish him the best. Was overrated by the vast majority of ours fans, these last injured years in particular (time makes people forget flaws) but he had his moments.

Pretty much my take on it

Got the Diaby disease of getting better whilst he was injured in fans eyes but in reality he was decent but that's about it

Outright model professional and supremely talented player - one of the very best of the Emirates era.

Good luck to him with his ongoing recovery - would be great to see him retire at the club where it all started for him as a professional.
