Ozil can make him even better though. :arse fan: :arse fan:

Rosicky was always one of my favourite players. A player with a very elegant style who was always magical in his touches.
I hope he returns to Arsenal to be a youth coach or something similar

Me too, he was a top guy.

Always committed, old school Arsenal, we practically have no players like that left anymore.

He was our Nedved.

Its a shame these players are falling off, the players from the late 90's - early 00's were best players I've seen in general, mature, competitive, not full of sh*t .......... and not a selfie between them.

About time, another one we kept far too long. Even if he did score a belter vs Spurs.

Could've been a great player, unfortunately wasn't for us. Retirement well overdue.

Seems like a top bloke off the pitch, would like him to be a coach (what he should've done 4 years ago)

Players like Rosicky made this team great.

I don't know what it is but the 90's / early 2,000 generation of footballers were just so much better than today's.

Its like they were more competitive, more mature about how they approached the game and how they honed their skills.

Today's players have got one eye on their agents and pay checks and the other eye on their selfie sticks and Twitter accounts.

a lot of them learnt football on the streets and developed their own unique style. Nowadays kids are brought in as toddlers and told to do things instead of naturally learning them so they all become machines that play the same way.

So true, i speak about this every 6 months or so in the football going downhill thread. We have now ended up with a game which really doesn't produce payer like Rosicky anymore.

Rosicky behind Riquelme is my 2nd favorite player of all time! Its about time he retired and gave his body a rest but who cares, he was a wonderful wonderful player who will never be forgotten!

Again its said, i don't have favorites like him anymore. Modern players are f***ing boring and hardly inspire anyone, infact most of them seem highly insecure and seem intent on making as many people jealous of their 'success' as possible, ironic since most modern players seem to think they can all start their own brands.
