Unfortunately, his performances just highlight what I said about him.

People that think he's going to be much better than what he's showed last couple of games are deluding themselves.

He's made so many poor mistakes in the last couple of games and yes, it was against PL quality opposition. But you still have to get the basics of defending right and he doesn't.

Shouldn't be anywhere near first-team. I'm not even sure if I'd play him against Blackpool in the FA Cup because of how many errors he makes.

2 games

5 goals conceded

4 of these goals because of him Ball watching rather than tracking his man and clearing the danger.

My love for him wants me to give him team to re-adjust after so long out.

My head however is saying he's probably past it and no longer first team material and may probably have to leave soon sadly.

He's just had 6 months out, he's way off in every department because his body can't do the things he wants it to. He'll need at least a month of games to get that sharpness back, and unlucky for us, he's back at a time we have few defenders so he's straight into the team.

He has no future at this club. Whether you rate him or don't rate him, he's getting different types of injuries now and his body has caught up with him. So he cannot be relied on.

Time to start utilising Medley more and/or looking for a new CB.

Yeah,Bielik and Chambers are also on loan and will be back next year.
With Mavropanos, Papa, Mustafi, Holding and Medley arround, Kos is surely done here.

Literally had 0 expectation that he’d play for us again tbh, if so it would’ve been in the carling cup

Fine if we’re playing more shitters in each domestic comp tho

Don’t think he expected to be thrown in the deep end either

Last year he was awful too. Your acting like he was amazing last year and the 6 months he's just had out has f**k him up, when in fact he's been rubbish for 3 years now and has always been massively overrated by most Arsenal fans.

I think 'awful' is completely overstating it.....yes he made a few unexpected errors which people remember because its most unlike him. I've always rated him highly, as for a long time he's been one of our best players.

Its always tough coming back from long term injury and as Cannoner said, he wouldn't be back at this point if it wasn't for all the injuries. As others have already said, when we get the others back, unless he's somehow managed to turn it around....he's pretty much done here.

Mans been solid for his last 3 games, 2 shaky ones when he first came back but easy to see why he was our best CB before. Papa and him could be a great partnership for the rest of the year.
