Filling in at left back and being one quartet of the best defence in CL history in 05/06

Doing the work of two men as Cesc neglected his defensive duties so Flamini did it and our title challenge fell apart after he got injured I think in the CL quarter final v Liverpool

And basically the same thing in 13/14 as he enabled Ramsey to play his best football

Great squad player. Wish him nothing but success.

lol even if you don't give him any credit for his second stint, he was fantastic for a couple of seasons the first time.

Oh be quiet, what "heights" did I claim, I didn't say he was Vieria I said I respect that he played his position properly as a CDM rather than your Ramsey who when he finally decided to play CM he was looking WC for a season but then decided to throw it all away and go back to doing what almost got him sold prior by trying to be a CF.

I respect Flamini because he always knew his duty to the team, he defended the back four and gave us fight.

Flamini was a starting midfielder back in the Fabregas era when we had players like RVP, Adebayor, Hleb, Rosicky, Fabregas, Flamini, Eduardo, Toure etc he couldn't have been as crap as your making out to be a first choice starter in that team?

Can't believe he didn't get made captain

Not like he couldn't play a B2B either, got double digits in goals one year in the league

Fabregas and Ozil two of the best creative midfielders we've ever had loved Flamini then I'm sure he was better than what most you were making him out to be.

He was.

Just look at how he elevated Cescs and then Ramseys game. Both have turned to shit since Flamini was dropped for Diaby and Arteta.
