But he's not a DM. He's a box to box CM and is more effective attacking than Arteta. Arteta adopted as a DM. Not sure Kallstrom is that kind of a player.

I won't mind if we offered him a 1-year-deal whilst also signing a DM.

Decent loan player. Signing him on even a 1 year deal would be criminal. Rather give Coquelin that spot

He's average at best, didn't impress me at all against West Ham.

Nope me either, he was trying but his long passes seemed to keep being misplaced. Rusty obviously but wouldn't sign him regardless.

Kim Kallstrom

Postby Cripps » Tue May 27, 2014 10:51 pm

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could return for Swedish midfielder Kim Kallstrom after the 31-year-old's loan spell was disrupted by a back injury.
Full story: Daily Mirror

:rofll:

Seems like a very Wenger thing to do.

I actually don't think he was that bad when he played. Better than shite like Benayoun for example but not what we need.

Couldn't find a kallstrom thread anywhere which surprised me seeing as we got him in January.

Not you specifically but most of us would have.

Never underestimate the power of Wenger to piss off the fans

It's already happened once.

Why's it funny? he's got a ton of experience and i thought looked half decent considering it was a new league and he's been injured. he's on a free isn't he? i'd take him for free as back up with arteta to a proper quality DM
