Despite losing this was a proud moment for our club being the first London team to reach the final.

Chelsea may have won it before us but who gives a shit since we got there first and laid the foundation for others to follow. We played awesome and ultimately let down by Almunia and the sending off. We held out so well for so long against the best team back then.

What's interesting watching this game nearly 8 years older and wiser i noticed Barca where playing a 'false 9' before Messi made it famous and even before Roma started to use it regularly. Ronadinho who had a better game than i thought at first would collect the ball in the final 30 and look to pass to the wide men or midfielders breaking through.

So different to see a Barca team without tiki taka, instead, skillful, quick powerful players with quick clever interchanges.

I'll try and find some more. It's so great to be back winning things, really shows how massive Saturday was for our club. Finals are special.

Almunia didn't do anything wrong.

Watching that again brought back so much. That was the first Arsenal final I watched.

I've never even been able to watch the highlights of this match, too painful.

That was one of the darkest days of my life - outside someone dying, I've never felt so down.
