The fact that TH14 never won a Ballon Abhor says a lot more about the credibility of the award than about Henry.
Football is a team sport and a player's individual performance is influenced by a plethora of variables which makes it impossible to measure individual performance in a fully equitable manner to reach an explicit conclusion.
For example, a Maltese Granada player who bags 65 goals and 40 assists in a single La Liga season without winning the WC and/or CL would already struggle to win the award because abovementioned criteria is not achieved.
Practically every legendary manager has shot down its relevance and one can only hope that, one day, the average football fan will share that view.
