Hiya,

This board has been created for any members to ask questions about the history of Arsenal Football Club.

All members are welcome to reply to the questions asked.

We thought it would be a very interesting read for all members.

Please feel free to write articles about anything relating to the history of Arsenal and post them in here.

It would also be good for any of our members who are old enough or have access to old video footage, to write match reports about classic Arsenal games.

Can I ask all members not to post a link to articles etc, we would like it to be your own views, opinions, experience etc.

Hope you enjoy it!

I didn't miss a match between 75 and 92, so hopefully I can provide the answers, alongside the others who are also of a similar age.

Home and away 8) Plus Cup, but not all away in Europe. I had a season ticket back then, but moving North added too much cost, so I gave it up when they pulled The North Bank down.

That right Reg.......as other supporters claimed that all we used to do......was lob the ball up the pitch and score......well i must say alot of other teams has been doing this too!! But our football has not been like that, as we're still scoring goals with new generation players with more Flair, confidence and commitment and their making history by doing what there doing, as our History will bring it out in the open.

I can't stand the way that football was taken away from the working man. The introduction of seats almost killed the game as we knew it back then, the grounds have lost their heart.

Just looking at your sig, those pics will have been taken back in the glory days of terraces, when nearly 20,000 of us were crammed into The North Bank chanting, "Oh Rocky Rocky, Rocky Rocky Rocky Rocky Rocastle"

"We're The North Bank, We're The North Bank, We're The North Bank over here"

Good old days !
I would stand in front of the Police, behind the goal 3/4 up the north bank
1970 .
The days when we sang cockney songs !
My father was a witness to the forming of the Arsenal Supporters Club 1952/3, I think ? ( I was born a lot later ... ) hence I became a Gooner...
Like many fans, I was upset how the Bond Scheme was set up for rebuiding the North Bank and I joined in all the protest groups.
To me thats when supporters lost their say in their own club. Money had taken over by greed.
But once a Gooner, always a Gooner.
