everton at the emirates last season he was playing a box to box role and the defensive side of the game was outstanding

That's typical Diaby though - plays crap for a while then gets a run of games and gets better and better until he looks amazing and in the very next game he gets yet ANOTHER long term injury.

I agree with shamrock that Diaby has been phenomenal at times but other times very average. Looking at current form, my pecking order for the 3 attacking middies has got to be Cesc, Arshavin, Walcott, Rosicky, Diaby and Nasri on the injury table of course.

He does have some good games and come up with some crucial goals but I think he needs to be up for it and get stuck in every game, he will have 1 where he does then 1 or 2 where we expect it but he doesnt deliver. I still think hes good enough though and can hopefully find that hunger

What a f***ing player he could have been. Such a shame his body couldn't stand up to it, a real sickener.

Was my favorite player when he was with us. God he was so elegant. We hype up 19 year olds from the u23. Diaby at 19 was a world class young talent and was gonna start in the cl final. Until one scumbag decided to ruin gis career

Better than Pogba.

A real shame the way his career was ruined by injuries.
