Disagree there Libs. I thought it was a great book of how a lad from a small club came to the Arse and the difference between the two. Alright there was a lot about his affairs and shit but thats what happens. Also it was good as it was kind of the last days of football before all the money come into it. Imagine reading a player of todays book. " played in youth team signed at 18 on 50k week. driving me Bentley and shagging wags at faces in essex. Tried to get my mobile back of Cashley"

I had no problem with the content mate.
Just, like a lot of sporting biographies, it wasn't particularly well written.
I can't stick the "then i done this, then i done that" type of book.

Just been looking through some youtube videos of Tony Adams. Reminded me why I fell in love with the sport and the club.

Anyone who wasn't old enough to follow footy when he was playing should do a quick google/youtube search. I forget sometimes quite how good he was.

I have become very negative in the way I support the club since the invincibles were sold off and we moved to the emirates and probably also since I discovered internet forums, twitter etc. Those videos remind me of why I'm proud to be an Arsenal fan - of what we stand for! I'd love to have a few more players with that sort of bottle (excuse the pun) and commitment. They don't make 'em like that anymore!

I realise that some people on here might not be old enough to have seen adams play. Here are a couple of highlights videos.

Lots of negativity on here atm so its good to remember a time when we were great and bullied other teams!
