They both at that point were always going to be pick up injuries and they were going to hit that type of form that once made them so special. I'm happy for Santi that he's found a place that he can enjoy his football again, and for me he's one of the few players for Arsenal during the Wenger era at the Emirates that can hold his head high.

The god of irony really does have a cruel sense of humour.

We keep and persist with Diaby in displaying a fantastic level of faith, trust and support in putting the person before business but ultimately losing the good fight. Cruel fate 1 - football 0.

We keep and persist with Wilshire in displaying a fantastic level of faith, trust and support in putting the person before business but ultimately losing the good fight. Cruel fate 1 - football 0

We fulfill the contractual obligations of Cazorla with a bonus extension borne of gratitude, but apply good business practice with poor medical diagnosis and judgment. Football 1 - Arsenal 0

A bit like opening a plastic bag (boo, hiss just in case Emma Thompson is reading) to realise that you've kept a packet of stale broken biscuits and thrown away the double pack of chocolate hobnobs your missus bought yesterday, and has just asked you to bring from the cupboard.

Not a fan of Cesc, but that did make me laugh. Robert's has been blocking every Arsenal fan on Twitter for given him stick lol.

Not really his fault tbf. I have no idea what the defenders were doing there and kane pinged it so early. Hes perfectly fine being off his line in that position.

He just looks like an idiot because of the nature of the goal but he had nothing to do with the cause of it imo.

BOB WILSON FEATURED ON THIS IS YOUR LIFE

Circa ~ 1998 with appearances from Seaman, Lukic, Petit, Wenger, Manninger, Bergkamp and many others including 1971 double winners

Poor sound quality but ok if turned up loud

Corinthians 15:57; But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus

Shocking to think that both Jill Dando and Helen Rollason were dead within a few months of this.

Jeff Reine-Adelaide on the verge of a €30m move from Angers to Lyon.

We sold him this time last season for €2m - and a 10% sell on clause, so we’d get another €3m if all goes well.

€30m! Wow.

Further embarrassment on our transfer dealings. Gnabry, JRA, Afobe and Malen have all gone for pennies when we should’ve commanded at least 40m for the lot.

Wenger had this emotional side to him where he'd put the welfare of his adopted children before the interests of the club.
