Against comfortably the worst defensive team in the league.

The fact people are disappointed that we lost a close game against city away says a lot. Also we looked really solid for the majority of the game, saka was unlucky not to score. We just need to add some creativity in the final third.

WTF did he wait so long to change things? he must have seen we were shite, not impressed at all with him.

Early days of course, but Partey looked cack when he came on. Looked totally lost.
I can see why he didn't start based on what I saw.

We were afraid to play them, no guts at all losers.

It was a daft move to bring him on with 10 minutes to go. Throwing him under the bus essentially. We'd lost all shape at that point.

I'm sorry but this 'just add a bit of creativity' doesn't cut it for me. There's no magic to creating chances, Aouar would've helped but the system we play isn't lending itself to swift attacks or a high frequency of chances.

We are playing chess every week and waiting for the 76 pass checkmate goal starting from Leno.

Laca was poor but I don't blame him as much - Arteta dropped him whilst he was on a scoring run...something that should NEVER happen.
Rookie error from Michel.
He talks a big game about the players in form being picked but he doesn't walk the walk. If he did, Auba would be dropped, not Laca.

Thought it weren’t too bad tbh

Had some great chances which we would’ve magically converted if we were at Wembley

We can’t beat them all the time

We go again

In addition to this, these results don't work in isolation.

It's always an indicator of something deep, something that tells a greater story.

Our inconsistency in the League hasn't been backed up by the results, but soon - it will explode if we don't fix it or address it at the beginning. The main focus is that we haven't been all that impressive this season, so far. This performance augments that reality.

Not at all, this is the poorest City team for a long time, they also had key players out, they were there for the taking, Leicester smashed them and they’re results have been so so this season.

We turned up park the bus and then get beaten, negative football at its worst and just not good enough, this is basically the same tactic Arteta uses every time we play a big team, he got lucky a few times but it wasn’t going to last, that’s not good management.

Ancelotti seems to be doing pretty well with Everton, Arteta should be doing better than he is right now.
