Partey screamer incoming.

Reality: Doesn't run around enough in training and becomes an outcast. Shipped out on loan in Jan.

Too bad he is joining Ghana in the international break. Would've been great if he had the few weeks to settle in.

Leno
Bellerin - Holding - Gabriel - Tierney
Partey - Ceballos
Pepe - Willian (?) - Saka
Auba

A massive quality gap where Aouar should've been. We really need a creative attackind mid.

Rome wasn't built in a day. I think the moves we've made this summer have been really productive given the current financial climate.

Current financial climate didn't stop clubs coming up from spending shit loads on players. Villa and especially Leeds spent years in the championship. Buy without selling

We spent years in the CL

Can't spend without selling.

And we didn't get what we needed.

In other news, Sterling withdraws from England duty with a slight hamstring strain.

In other words he's fine for this

We spent 70m+ on Partey and Gabriel, without even considering the cost of Willian. We received 20m for Martinez but weren't able to offload the majority of our deadwood.

So yes, we didn't spend without selling, even when you don't consider the additional payments for Pepe, our bloated wage budget, and so on.
