Arteta has had 1 game, 3 training sessions, and had us looking a lot better today than we have looked in months. Yes not as good as we used to be, but better than we have been.
Which manager would you support being here if they didnt win their first game? Would you rather we had no manager?
we did not want arteta. a guy with zero experience.
it's not hard to understand.
at least give him a chance ffs, no point being a negative prick within 2 weeks of his appointment
if were still shit near the start of next season then yeah then its time
we couldve hired peter sutcliffe and id still back him at the start of his tenure
just can't get behind this appointment. if it was howe or nagelsmann id understand... both young managers that have actually managed before so are backable. but arteta? f*ck that. he doesn't deserve to be our manager.
cant u wait until hes just proven himself to be shite
we all knew emery was wank even though he got us to a europa league final, took me 6 months in to clock that that stupid dracula looking c*** was useless
arteta's literally just had one game in charge, suffering with our worst ever managers hangover and dregs
we'd be just as shit if we hired richard from undateables italian cousin too
nah ive had enough of being hopeful and 'hoping things work out'
we're making systematically flawed decisions time and time again and then wonder why we're not getting any better. im starting to move into the gooney camp of wanting relegation. our fans and board completely deserve it.
for 10 years, 10 WHOLE YEARS we were banging the drum of wanting change cause we could see EXACTLY everything that's unfolded. we were insulted, abused and told to f off. that we should 'back the manager' (just like we're being told now with arteta), that we should give it a chance, give it more time etc etc... well now we're mid table, stadium half empty, sub standard squad and crap performances. how did that work out? the club is literally dying.
the worst decisions this season was our recruitment policy and our failure to sack emery sooner
we made decent signings but still lacked the vision to see that we have zero midfield
if we sacked emery in the international break the ship wouldve at least been levelled for a short term period
the club just needs a general overhaul, players over 27/28 should be looking to be moved on and we need to be signing smart, doing that alone i think there'd be an improvement
make no mistake if next season we're floundering like we are now there's gonna be massive backlash but i think most of it needs to be directed to danny devito in charge
he seems to be making the same shit decisions again and again like gazidis, if things dont look up he'll be gone before arteta will be
the consensus off the board with my mates and family is that people are wlling to give arteta time, but now raul has his "perfect model" then it's all up to him
