I said in the middle of a V shape, so as a CAM ahead of the midfield in the No10 role or CF Bergkamp role where Auba and Pepe can be ahead of him left and right attacking goal.

If Laca isn't available what other choice of that quality is there, Nelson isn't ready and neither is Martinelli for full senior games against top opposition.

Ozil could be in the hole setting up Pepe and Auba and running in behind into the box like he did under Wenger in that spell where scored a good few goals.

Regardless, its Emery's decision.

If Ozil is fully fit and Lacazette's out injured, I would definitely try starting Ozil behind PEA and Pepe as DG said. I feel he would do well in this game with the players he will have supporting him.
