Today everything was panicked, stretched and rushed. No composure at all.

It's really not that reasonable to go overboard in praise for a player one week and then go all doom and gloom the next.
Ceballos is a quality player who will, like all players, have good weeks and less good weeks. He was up against Liverpool today in their back yard.
Let's judge his contribution at the end of the season.

He also played out of position. At no point was he playing a CM. I’d love to see his heatmap.

Heatmap below.

If Emery keeps tinkering with the formation, it will be difficult for the players to find consistency.

how many times has a LB, any LB dispossessed Mo when he is away and dribbling at goal in the last 3 years??
he's good at keeping the defender at his back and drawing fouls

Many times. .....he wasn't that far away.

I'm sorry, but from the distance he had to cover, he was completely catchable
.

ansdbody else care to call BS on this statement.

Mo Salah routinely gets caught from behind... and is COMPLETELY CATCHABLE...

all the matches i've watched with him in it... i dont remember that at all. not saying i have waxcthed all Pool matches.

Look at Ceballos and Willock, heatmap. If you are going to play Willock in that way just play Nelson ffs. Wasting our young talent and exposing them for no damned reason.

Sometimes you lose games because the other side is just better than you. I'm no less confident for our top four chances than I was before kick-off.

Liverpool has talent but they are not loaded with talent at every position.

Some of their starting players would look very average on other teams or system. Their midfield isnt exactly star studded but they work well together.

Liverpool team plays better than its parts because of Klopp.

He makes the players believe in his system, trains them well, and gets the most out of them.

They beat more talented teams on their way to CL title and Klopp is the #1 reason why.

They're a complete team. No obvious weaknesses. They have the best centre-back in the world, the best pair of full-backs in the world, and probably the best front three in the world.

I'd argue that they're the best run major club in Europe.

They have tons of weaknesses. Adrian is shit, they routinely get played in behind. We just weren’t able to exploit them.

Adrian is their backup goalkeeper.

They do not routinely get played in behind. On the rare occasion that they are, VVD is there to sweep up 90% of the time. They're about as complete a side as there is right now.

With 30% possession we had more shots on goal than them in the first half.

Aye, and we still lost comfortably. They recorded 97 points last season and are champions of Europe. They're a phenomenal team.

Agree about Virgil but the best three in the world? Certainly not individually. They work well together. Of the three I would only consider Salah as an elite player.

They are nowhere going to be as damaging if not in Klopp's system.

Same with their midfield.

It's a team that has mastered Klopp's system.
