Oh really?

Sure, yes.
Our last 2 results in the league at Anfield have been a 4-0 loss and a 5-1 loss, right?
Don't want to see that happen again.
A competitive game is good enough for me right now at this stage of our rebuild. We're playing away to a much much better team.
Not saying we can't win. Upsets can happen.

We'll win this. It'll be tight and ugly and we'll win it by the odd goal

Last time I was at Anfield in 2012 we won 2-0 Pod and santi I think with the goals. Seems like a lifetime ago. Diaby masterclass as well.

I liked Diaby and I watched him plenty of times but I never once thought he would ever be as good as Vieira

Btw don't think willock will start.

Think Emery will start Xhaka  Guendouzi and Ceballos behind Laca, Auba and Pepe.

Also Am I right in thinking Lacazette has never started at a game at Anfield? Shunned for Welbeck in his first season and then benched for Aubameyang last season.

Ok geniuses. How do we stop Liverpool’s front three from getting the ball? What ideas you’ll got?

sit and counter? not a fan of that style, but if we go toe to toe with them it's rather risky.
cheers!

Not possible. Their front 3 will have a lot of the ball.
What we need to do is stop them getting in behind us and that means the midfield has to protect the back 4 well - to avoid them being drawn out.
The space between the CB's and midfielders has to be as tight as a ducks arse.

Opponents easily get behind our back line. This will be disastrous against Pool. I would play a back three and flood the midfield with three terriers and two wing backs. Auba and Pepe on top to hit on the counter.
