Torreira was benched when he came at the start of last season. Ended up playing a lot of games. Leno was benched when he came at the start of last season. Ended up playing a lot of games. Laca who wasn't even a new signing got benched at the start of last season. Probably first name on the teamsheet nowadays.

Pepe has been at the club for little over 2 weeks. Stop panicking.

Why? Let the three gel together, it's not as if we need to rest players for other competitions.

Looking forward to this game, a nice 3 -0 win to us will be most acceptable.

Let Laca fully recover from his injury, let Pepe build up match fitness so he doesn't get labelled as a flop because he's started before he's ready.

He doesnt start today....he starts away at liverpool? Or spurs next? He cant start and play 60 mins in a home game against small team?

Won’t be happy if emery keeps Pepe on the bench vs Burnley then throws him in at Liverpool at anfield will be Fuming one of the hardest places to go he should let him play against Burnley for 60 mins then take him off

I agree. The sooner he gets minute the sooner he adjust. But his answer on pepe didnt sound promising yesterday. But if he doeant start and next 2 liverpool and spurs and doesnt start. Suddenly pepe will be under massive pressure and be called flop. Media will go with him nit looking good in training and its the easiest story to make up. You say your record signing look good in training and isnt starting? You wont be believed

Still no Mustafi in my team again . Alhamdulilah. we praise Thee! :grouphug: :cloud9:

Hmm felt like today would have been a good game to blend pepe into the team especially with tricky games at anfield and the NLD coming up. Good to see Luiz and Dani starting though

Its criminal that we arent giving our £72m player here a start at home before big games against Liverpool and Spurs... Im baffled.

On the other hand, glad to see Laca back and Luiz in. Also loving the opportunities being handed to Nelson and Willock.
