I don't think there's any future for Monreal playing centre-back, he's too small and is on the decline. If we got Tierney I wouldn't care too much who we moved on out of Monreal and Kolasinac, but I think the former would be easier to sell (lower fee + wages, likely open to moving back to Spain).

AMN flat footed with the turn of pace and way too loose against depay to let the cross in but that goal was 90% of chambers. Wtf are you doing marking the space instead of the striker?

Theres 3 of them in a line when chambers drops off away from dembele, ball goes in and he does a half hearted job of jumping back to dembele who literally had nothing to do but jump up and let the ball bounce off his head.

Wtf is mustafi doing? The pass looked offside but ffs why are you running behind the ball carrier with your arm raised so you cant full sprint?

AMN from RB position had to cover more ground than mustafi that was begging for the whistle and staring at the lino more than the player ahead of him.

Ffs this is ridiculous.

One injury or suspension and those two are the CBs.

We need a permanent CB starter this summer.

I was thinking that, WTF aren't you trying to stop him you muppet instead of swinging yur fooking arm about. He is a dreadful player sadly we will see more of him.

It's a pre-season friendly so complaining that players are at 80% that's hardly a surprise ... worryingly the defence and midfield still seem to be playing in two different time zones, defending is a team game, the back five simply can't do it alone. Up front we could easily have had a few more but we definitely need a better back-up, lose Auba or Laca for a few weeks and right now we'd be fecked, Pepe is therefore a must sign. This season looks like one where as always we will need to score more than we concede, obvious but also an issue because we will concede a bundle ... at least it will be good to watch ....
