Let’s be real, they weren’t the difference at all. Wolves should’ve scored 4 or 5 while we were lucky to even get 1.

Okay so we were shit, but I find it baffling no one is talking about the officials. There was a Laca shout at the beginning of the match, which seemed like there might have been something there. Wasn't even shown on the replay. Then there was their first goal. The interaction between Monreal and the player who went down was literally, they passed each other and while Monreal was running, he brushed his leg against the other player, who went down theatrically. Foul given, yellow card given, goal. Then there was the second Laca shout I believe in the second half, which would have been given as pen in 80% of cases.

We were shit but the refs have definitely tilted the odds in their favour.

You can pick up some interesting points from post match press conferences.

Last night, when asked if he was angry at half time, Emery replied that he always questions himself when things go wrong like that, and doesn't just focus on things like why certain players didn't do the things they had agreed to do in the planning discussions during the lead up to the game.

That must be the single most frustrating point of being a manager or coach.

Some managers will never blame the players and always take the blame on themselves. Which can be good at times, but I think also at times many professional athletes are pampered these days, and we don't have enough fire and brimstone type of coaches to kick them up the ass when they don't perform up to snuff. You can't just always take the blame yourself, you have to hold your players responsible at times.

Well, my point is he kind of did point the finger at certain players, without naming them.

Its a nightmare.
Whole season the manager couldn't figure out the defense as well as away from.
Has to be mental than anything else.

We beat quarabag 3-0
58 hour drive away this season
Ramsey has played there and won with wales
Ozil has played there 3 times with Germany and won all 3( he scored the opener in the middle game) it's on you tube

As we’ve always said, mentality comes from the manager - and we’re a team with no bollocks

No this is on the players. We know how Emery wants to play, we know what he demands. If they go out there and make stupid, pathetic mistake after mistake and throw the game away in the first half, what can he do?

AKB excuses transferring over here

“It’s on the players” “players are making individual errors”

Can’t have it both ways. Appreciate he needs a season but we could have Rinus Michels resurrected from the grave but being 3-0 down against f***ing Wolves at half time would still be his fault

Ajax were 3-0 down at half time at psv in 1975 under rinus michels
They lost 6-2

These games were the end for Wenger and this should be the end of Emery.

I don't even understand how you can ruin a season like this in 2 weeks.

That was the season before last
Wenger was given another season 5 years after he should have been sacked
Man city lost 3-2 home to palace guardiola still in situ
Liverpool lost 2-1 home to palace and 3-2 home to west brom fa cup klopp still in situ
Spurs lost 2-0 in fa cup at palace pochetino still in situ

We'll have a much better idea next season, in my opinion. That said, the last few performances have been shocking

Liverpool finished 8 th in klopp first season
Exactly the position they were heading for when he arrived
Emery first 52 games at arsenal w 32 d 7 l 13
Klopp first 52 games at Liverpool w 23 d18 l 11
Game number 52 was a 3-1 defeat to emerys Sevilla in the Europa league final in Basel ( which is in Switzerland ) not a home game

Fact is we have been declining for weeks, we are a poor team, stick to the Europa that is our level, wolves will be above us next season they look far superior than us

Heard it all before
06/07
Bolton 3 us 1
14/15
Southampton 2 us 0
15/16
Us 0 West Ham 2

Europa or bust now.

Difference is we have no money.

Seriously, we should probably just all get used to battling for 6 to 10th place.

Watched us do that between 1982 and 86
It was unacceptable for a club of this stature then
I ain't planning on getting used to it now

Or else we would be down 0-6 at the half.
we have conceded 6 goals in a half once in our history
At Newcastle in 1925
Finished 7-0

Change the f***ing record about fans not caring
Just because you don't go into waves of sorrow does not make you happy about defeat
I still care strongly about losing the 1972 cup final to Leeds but I don't bang on about it in every post
We conceded 3 at home to Sheffield Wednesday and 4 at Newcastle in 99/00
Won double league and fa cups after that
Conceded 3 at wolves home to Fulham and at Leeds in consecutive games in 67/68
Won fairs cup and double after that
