The Ozil effect? Took the game away at the outset.

Got to give credit where it's due. 3-4-3 worked for once. Team selection was fine. Good subs. Half time team talk worked. The players worked hard for the whole game and kept the pressure on them.

Because he's actually not a troll, he's sincere, he doesn't say things to deliberately wind people up, that's just how he genuinely feels.

............. and he's been so for as long as he's been posting here and hasn't changed.

However he sure is wrong a hell of a lot and is a bonfide merchant of gloom.

Mkhi has looked much more like what was expected since he came back from injury. He looks settled now and is making some great plays / passes / contributions.

I haven't seen ozil this fired up for ages. There was a great moment in our RB position when he blocked a dribble and then drew a foul after working hard to get back.

Generally, we looked good across the board. Kos with that monster block, Leno with some great saves, guendouzi brushing off a huge mistake and taking the game on after that like a champ (a lot of 19 year olds would have folded or hidden).

Laca scoring a peach of a goal to destroy his last chance in front of goal in the last game.

Auba feeding off scraps, but got his chance and killed it stone cold.

Even jenkinson did well by keeping it simple and working the angles well to release mkhi when he could in behind. Would have liked to see more crosses from him tbf, we know he can throw them in if he wants.

Suarez looked a lot better than previous outings. He looks to be picking up a bit of confidence although hes way off proper match sharpness and seems to play it very safe atm.

All round a great performance with a well deserved scoreline.

Top 4 handed on a silver platter.

This pathetic version of Arsenal will still find a way to finish 6th

On coarse for 76 points needed for the top 4
Man Utd won the league once with 75 points but this is the easiest season ever?

That was some goal by Trippier - such a cool finish.
I hope he keeps up that form against us.

Massive NLD now.. if we beat the spuds I think they'll panic!

In fact the next 4 games will be huge for us.. Spurs and Utd plus the two Rennes ties. We'll know a lot more about Emery and whether he has instilled some fighting spirit and confidence into the team after those games.
