3 pts or I start getting on Emery's back.

We need to be more dominant with these teams we can't be letting points slip.

Will we for once look like we have an identity and semblance of control?

I am tired of how shit we are even against fodder.

And why is it that fodder always bend over for our rivals?

Burnley were very resilient against Spurs, 11 men behind the ball and gave them no space. That worries me.

Cmon Arsenal

May be an unpopular opinion, but this game is more important to me than Spurs in the Carabao Cup. Have to bounce back after that shocking result against Southampton.

Dyche will be licking his lips after seeing Leno flap at crosses and long balls today. They will be targeting him from set-pieces. I hope that Sokratis and (God help us) Mustafi will be back fit because we can't go into that game with the centre-backs we had today.

I know it took Spurs 92 minutes to break the deadlock against them, but we can't afford a scrappy win. We need to win and win well. I don't just want to see a response in the Carabao Cup, I want a big response against Burnley and Brighton.

Same.

With our comp options of fighting for top 4 and the Europa, our two routes back to the CL, I think we should play a B team against Spurs.

Who cares about bragging rights big picture, when it mattered we battered them 4-2.

Rather progress in a cup and have a chance to win it than throw that away for a game at home to Burnley.

Emery's been getting his priorities wrong so far (Hudds over Man Utd and Qarabag over Saints) so let's see what he does this week. Should just play the best team in both but it's the defence where we have a problem.

Are you mad? I couldn't care less about the Worthington Shite.

Have you not noticed we are now trailing quite badly in the race for Top 4 in the league?

It's all going tits up and our team is shit.

Go all out in carling cup. We cannot lose to those c****.

Still confident Spurs will drop points. They have a tiny squad, no money to spend, had players at latter stages of WC and they seem pretty tired already. After christmas and especially around easter time they'll slide down.

Nah come on man, we need to look at the bigger picture here.

We are in a period of rebuilding the squad. Yesterday re-emphasised just how desperately we need to attract top players to the club.

Winning the League Cup will not give us that. Getting Champions League football will, mainly because of the additional income.

We've already won 3 FA Cups in the last 5 years and ended a 9 year wait for a trophy, so we need to put everything into the Europa and the Prem.

As much as I would love to bring those arrogant twats from across the round back down to earth, I would take a loss if it meant we get maximum points from our next few Premier League games.

We already beat Spurs 4-2 in the game that truly mattered, so a loss in the League Cup to them, though it would suck, wouldn't be a disaster.

Emery has to be prioritising Burnley. I don't want to see any fans slagging him off if he takes a pragmatic approach and decides to rest our core players on Wednesday night.

Can't believe what I'm reading, people happy with a loss to Spurs. We need to beat them c****.

No question.

What? No-one has said they would be happy with a loss to Spurs.

They, and I, are saying that we need to get our priorities right and look beyond this game.

There's a lot at stake this season. Competition for top 4 is harder than it's ever been. Europa will be tougher than last season. And the League Cup isn't a priority. I don't care who the opposition is. Getting back into the Champions League is paramount. The League Cup isn't going to give us that.

I still want us to beat Spurs of course. But if they do win, I'm not going to lose too much sleep over it. We have far bigger fish to fry.
