Nothing but a win over these pretenders scum.

Please stop playing Iwobi and Iwobi is winning the race to be the most erratic and inconsistent player in the squad.

This is bad. Just read the injury update and Lichtsteiner is also injured. And Bellerin might be out until January. So, Sokratis is our only match fit defender. Koscielny and Monreal did not look 100% ready for a tough match.

Really worried about this game. With all the injuries we will be very vulnerable in defense. Couldn't come at a worse time.
Will an ageing Kos, and Monreal along with unreliable Mustaphi and Jenkinson will be able to hold the Spuds? We will need defensive shield in front of them, which means can play only one striker.
I hope Ozil starts, and plays to his potential, keeping his phony illnesses behind.

........... and yet I've spent weeks trying to explain to people why you can't play all our best players 90mins every game but it seems to sink in like water on a tin plate.

We're in at least 3 competitions and have only two strikers for starters, our defensive issues are bloody critical, we're going to have to field some youngsters at this point.

Yup, completely agree.

I hate losing to those arrogant tosspots more than anyone, everything about them just makes me sick, and the fact they are on their high horse again after getting to the CL KO stages and having gone 5 points ahead of us....man, it just makes me want to knock them right the f**k off it.

But the reality is, we do not have the luxury of being able to field our best available XI when we have so much resting on the league fixtures coming thick and fast. And with our players getting injuries practically every game, part of me thinks the less first team players risked, the better. As I've said in other threads, this competition shouldn't be a priority for us. If we get through, then great! If not, it's not the end of the world and it could actually do us a favour in the long-run.

I've just seen Harry Winks say that Spurs will be out for revenge and this is the 'perfect opportunity' for them. Well, I hope we shut his stupid mouth up, but even if we don't, it still won't make up for the 4-2 walloping we gave them in the fixture that truly mattered.

I really hope we win. But I don't want to see our strongest line-up on Wednesday evening.

At least if we go all in with the kids tomorrow, we'll have that excuse if we lose. Plus, we'll be able to see which of them are ready.

Hi
havent been on in a while but felt compelled to write. on no planet, in no parallel world, in no circumstance is it ever acceptable to lose to Middlesex. It has always been and will always be the most important game in our fixture schedule. The game is nerve shredding but it should mean everything to all of us on and off the pitch to embarrass these people. The atmosphere the other sunday was one of the best ever at the new place and they really fancy giving it to us tomorrow.

Turn up Arsenal

If we lose let's lose with our veterans. Ask Tottenham how playing thier kid ended up for them last time. Medley should play against lower level opposition first before being thrust into a derby.

Screw it, the PL games are more important. Sucks that we cannot play a strong team for this, but the LC is nowhere near as important as getting our first XI firing correctly in the PL.

Guys guys, I understand the sentiment.
'it's just the league Cup' and yes the PL is definitely top priority because I do believe we have a good shot at getting back in the top 4 since it looks like it's gonna be a 2 horse race between us and the scums of the earth

But we are playing this at home and our game against Burnley is also at home.

What's important here isn't to rest our players, it's to gain back our confidence. We were very poor versus Huddersfield and were dreadful against the Saints. We need a win guys.

What's better than beating these scum? Seriously?

This is what I'd go with:

Martinez
AMN - Sokratis - Elneny - Monreal
Guendouzi - Torreira
Ramsey
Eddie - Lacazette - Medley
Wembley:
Community Shield @6-8-'23 = 1*-1 Manchester City

Emirates Stadium:
First game @10-9-'11 = 1 - 0 Swansea
Most memorable game @24-2-'22 = 2 - 1 Wolves
Last game @14-04-'24 = 0 - 2 Aston Villa
Next game @4-05-'24 = VS Bournemouth [ No ticket yet ]
