Hope you're wrong! If they couldn't beat Cardiff, I hope to christ they don't turn up against us. Hassenhuttl is a good coach though so wouldn't be surprised!

Well if you were going to pick one to lose for minimum impact on moral, this would be it

I still think we'll win though

Isn't our recent record there a bit shit? I remember they were on a horrible run, faced us and beat us 4-0 and then continued on their shit run

That was 15/16 when they finished 6th
They won at man Utd , Stoke and Spurs after that
And drew at Arsenal
Beat Liverpool and man city at home
Prior to that they had won at Chelsea
And drew with champions Leicester and at Liverpool
The following season we won 5-0 in the fa cup with a couple from welbeck there and beat them 2-0 in the league there as well

Crisps destroyed again?

Anyway 3 points and nothing less. Even if they have decent manager. We need to put away these bottom teams to keep in touch with the lot around us.

I think I must add in support of cripps that these games were not the immediate before and after our 4-0 defeat but in the same season .
In that respect he was right the games immediately before or after were not good for them but the point I was making was that poor form was actually a blip for them in what otherwise had been a good season

I'd back ach here. I think the soton away games we've played in recent seasons have been the games that have started us on a bad run or ended a decent run.

The 4-0 and a few others stick in my memory as absolutely shambolic losses where we've made them look infinitely better than they are.

Tbf this season has been one of redemption so far, so I'm hoping we turn up at a minimum and we should be able to get something out of it.
