Starting to think the slow 1st half performances are by design. Conserve energy, keep things more controlled - open up in the second half.

11 wins on the trot - best run in over a decade.

How was Ramsey?

I expected more from what I've heard from him seeing as he's competing with Mesut for CAM, thought he would of tried to make a statement.

Man Utd are the only other English team to win at sporting Lisbon and that was 1-0 in 2007
Sporting lisbon had not lost at home since September 2017
A 1-0 defeat to Barcelona

Yeah Ach mentioned they've only lost at home to Barca in the last 2 years so all of a sudden a 1-0 win at their ground sounds like a decent result.

First loss in 36 home games for them. It's actually a pretty good win considering

Was great to be at the game yesterday. Sporting only selling alcohol free beer though WTF!

Haven't slept at all as just went out drinking in Lisbon after the game and got a 6AM flight back. Wow I feel like death right now!

Usual performance.

Non existent. Out of position for the majority of his time.

Nothing more to say.

Why are you always talking bollocks like this? Elneny actually played higher up than him mostly, so he wasn't playing out of position at all considering he was the AM on paper. He also was among the better performances (that of course doesn't say much) imo. Had some good moments. Put Auba through for a 1vs1 among others, worked hard.

He was AM on paper?

Lol we started off with 4-3-3

He added absolutely nothing to the game.

Great argument.

And we started off with a 4-3-3 in the same way we did on monday with Ozil playing the AM role. The way we're set up, we have 2 midfielders in front of the defence and 1 midfielder in front of those. I call that an attacking midfielder, but I don't really care how you choose to describe it.

There is no argument lol.

He was shit. Did nothing. It's as simple as that.

Hence why he's now nothing more than a squad player and we play better without him.

We haven't play a good game all season, and one of the better patches was when he came on as a sub. Moreover, I pointed out above that he for instance put Auba through for a 1vs1, so he certainly didn't do "nothing". Go away instead of always spouting nonsense with nothing to back you up like a bad Donald Trump imitation.
