Our defence has been one of the worst in the entire league so far, so a more defensive set up should be tried.
The 3 across the middle are not all defensive. That's just a label people put on players who can tackle.
Both Torreira (especially) and Guendouzi are good at moving the ball forward and helping the attack.

As for the opponents, the PL offers no easy away games (or any games frankly).
Our away record over the last 12 months should have told you that.
