Am I the only one who isn't surprised that we aren't a cohesive unit? Am I the only one who remembers going 2-0 down in the first 30 mins at Stamford bridge and then literally laying down to get pummelled further for the remaining 60 mins?

f**k sake, guardiola needed 300m and 2 seasons to get to where he is now with city.

Conte got destroyed by us 3-0 months into the start of his tenure then went on to win the league.

Mourinho has spent the same as guardiola to bore the life out of everyone and get nowhere near the title.

I get it's disappointing and there's lots to criticise but, people need to chill out.

Emerys not an actual wizard. Use some restraint, show some patience, let the man work.

This !!!

And the lineup criticism, wr can sll see Torreira faded rapidly so is clearly not match fit, probably should have started Elneny with Guendouzi then. These first 2 games should have played our most defensive team ti ensure we don't lose, but you must include Ozil in the middle behind the striker, how else are you going to create chances!!

I don't need to say Ozil is shit cos he wasn't. He was ineffective because he didn't get the ball, he did not perform badly however. He closed the ball down and defended so he did what he was asked to do - he just didnt get the ball enough, the ball was wide for a lot of the game in Arsenal possession.

2 games in, the team still looks like a Wenger team, the only players that came out looking good were Cech who pulled out some good saves, Guendouzi amd Monreal, the rest ranged from shit to meh. (Ozil was meh).

It will take a long time for Emery's game to be imprinted on this team, he needs time and knee jerk reactions about him at this stage are pathetic!!

Torreira is not fit, you can see it, he faded very quickly after coming on

Mustafi is a liability as is Bellerin. If you want to be defensively strong I don't think they can be part of the team

And that bloody passing out from the back looks worse than amateurish. There is no benefit from doing it without the right personnel, starting with the most ungainly keeper I have seen with the ball at his feet. Like asking Ronald McDonald to perform Swan Lake!

Perhaps these 2 losses will show Emery that we need to focus 100% on defending, the attack will sort itself out, Im not overly worried about that.

We should start movraponos or holding instead of mustafi and bellerin needs to be cut for leich monreal wasnt matchfit . Xhaka needs to bench guendozi and torry start for me. We must play auba and laca up top its the only way

Objective analysis is that we have played 2 lost 2.

Yes the Prem L fixture generator threw up possibly the worst start a new manager/coach could have wished for BUT team selection for these two important games has been HORRENDOUS.

Also persisting with a 'play out from the back' tactic aginst Citeh and Chelski was asking for trouble with a begging bowl.

Bellerin and Mustafi are not effective defensively, Xhaka is hopeless, Ozil continues to show no interest and Ramsey should be sold.

After the impressive pre-season i had high hopes now its looking like 'New Boss'but same old - same old.

Until Emeri rids the team of Wenger's rubbish he is going to struggle.

Think next game Laca and Auba need to start together, a long with Torry and Matteo. Xhaka has proven yet a gain he is useless, guy needs to be benched.

Bellerin is also living on borrowed time as he's been so poor for so long.

That all said gutted we missed those golden chances, we quite possibly would have come away with 3 points on another day.

I was actually impressed with the team when we got our first goal we played well and on another day Abu and miki would bury those chances we could of been out of site by half time I genuinely thought at 22 we were going to tear them a new arsehole defence though once again cannot be relied on but if we play like we did after our first goal things can only be better

Absolutely spot on.
It's going to take UE a long time to fix the mess, but he should focus quickly on player turnover, getting rid of ALL Wengers players. I can understand why he didn't get rid of more in the summer. He needed to see out for himself.
The test for Emery will be in Jan. Will he have the balls to properly start the clear out...
