Just goes to how shit Milan really are though. Atletico is the real competition you have to beat to show you mean business.

...and Spurs are in the CL.
Just watch them have NONE of the issues we did when they move into their new stadium. They will just get better.

They are his players. He chose them, he trains them, and he picks them.

The buck stops with him.

Just want to get the season over now and start rebuilding in the summer.

Not just defence.
We need 20-25 new players for the 1st team squad.
It will take time.

Only thing arsenal can do this summer is sort out the defensive side.

No doubt we’ll be getting f***ing Bayern Munich next year in the quarters or something stupid

Well, they did but we can't use it as an excuse.

The first time we faced a UCL caliber opponent, we went out. That's Arsenal's European history. This decade has been shambolic. And the two legs against Atelti sums up Arsene's career as Arsenal manager.

So did I.

As much as Wenger is to be blamed here, the board is too. They should never have offered him a deal last summer.

The board allowed him to do whatever he wanted as long as he got CL footy and panicked the moment we were missed out on it. This board has shown that it has no vision or foresight. No club would have persisted with Wenger for so long. They let him overstay his welcome. They let a man, who doesn't know when to quit, go on and on.

I wanted us to win this European trophy. But as we all know, Wenger's time was up a long time ago.

The board weren’t (aren’t?) interested in trophies.

Wenger getting the club into the CL every year ticked the box. That’s all the wanted. The money.

Did anyone really believe Wenger and this team were capable of getting to a European Cup Final?

We might have hoped to, but no way should we have expected to.

Just need to lose at Huddersfield now and the zero points record since January will be our trophy this season :1990_dancing.gif:
