The amount of people on this board that are so upset by us not winning any trophies for a long period, that they actively want us to not win trophies now so they can be happy is truly baffling.

Are you guys serious or is this some sort of in joke I'm not supposed to get?

Genuine question..

I don’t get it either.

I want Wenger to leave, but I wouldn’t wish failure on the team to achieve it.

Wenger is going to stay whether we win the EL or not.

I don't know.

Participation in the CL is important to Kroenke and his lackies on the board. We lost out on about £40m this year by not being in it, and I'm sure there must be penalties in the sponsorship and commercial deals we have in relation to it.

I'm convinced that if he fails to get us into next years CL he is out.

As I said, Wenger will never give kroenke permission to sack him.

He's staying.

Kroenke will sing Wenger’s praises as long as he’s earning him money. When that stops, he will be gone.

Watching the game in full, that first goal was sick.

Danny's first goal was peak welbeck. You literally can't get more welbeck than that control and strike.

Missed match cos of work

Missed MOTD cos of Wrestlemania

Welbeck scoring twice doesn't appeal to me

It was actually a good game to watch, the first goal was quality.

Welbeck deserved his motm tbf, he played out of his skin.

It started getting tetchy towards the end with some handbags and red cards. All in all it had a bit of everything.

Bit late, but was a shite atmosphere most of the game. Also nearly 0 movement in midfield. You take out one or two players from our starting 11 and we are completely lost.

That miss by Welbeck :rofll:

Auba has to be POTY. Salah who?
