They were pretty crap tonight.

We were only average ourselves for our all round capabilities and still sunk them 2-0.

their mids were a shambles, tbf

"A thoroughly satisfying victory for Arsenal. This was a fine way to break out of that downward spiral, a commanding away performance, albeit against a sadly feeble Milan side. "

If we do I hope we don't get Athletico till the final because they're the one team I fear for us.

Usually I say bring em all on because to be champions you need to beat all comers anyway so why avoid Milan, why avoid Dortmund, earn your way to the final not fluke it.

.......... however with Athletico, because if the Europa ends so does our season, them and them only, I want to face them in a dramatic final.

Great win. We really needed that. I don't care that we all want wenger gone, i don't like seeing us lose constantly. Our confidence was shattered but this result should help!

Milan are shit of course but still a very important win!

Milan have been resurgent under Gattuso after a few weeks of settling in. I'll take heart in this victory, but don't count them out yet.

A very good win .... who knew that being unable to play our latest 110m of signings would make us such a better side ..... forcing Wonger to play a team that he would never pick? that's clearly the way to go .....

top night cheers mate. stadium unreal and I think if Milan had got an early goal the roof would have come off, their fans were really up for it right to the final whistle but arsenal performance didn't give them to much to get too intimidating about. poor arsenal fan turnout but we made as much noise as we could - then get kept in for best part of 45 mins after. still sitting at bloody Turin airport now !!

Dude .................

The only players we didn't play were our strikers, our midfield was the same and it was our midfield who scored all the goals so ..................

You think Welbeck was the reason we won this match??

Laca and particularly PEA with his pace would of had a field day against that defense, Welbeck was hurting them with pace but couldn't finish, PEA would of finished at least one maybe two of those chances.

Yes
I normally take the easiest route possible approach
Let others/ each other knock themselves out
But I don't trust Wenger to set us up properly
Especially against supposedly weaker opposition
So as long as he remains in charge I want us to get the hardest draws tiered towards a final
Milan were on that radar
Originally as a semi when I believed Dortmund would be the biggest drop out from the champions league
That changed to a quarter final after athletico Madrid came into it
We ended up getting them a round earlier
My preference would be to play athletico in a final over a two legged tie
As I said
I don't trust Wenger to manage a 180 minute tie
Beat them then for Wenger to smugly say to simeone it's all yours would be a lovely dream
