He's not considering balance though is he.

Surely if Jack who is an attacking midfielder is going to play central you need an out and out CDM beside him.

Ramsey and Wilshere was tried before and it was abandoned after about 3 games for good reason, neither are good defensively, Ramsey was in his all star season but has since gone back to Hollywood.

So again, if Wilshere plays what happens to Ramsey?

Our midfield would be like swiss cheese with those two at CM.
We won 6-0.

DId you watch the match tonight? What more would Ozil/Xhaka/Ramsey have brought to the match tonight than Jack? List it. If you didn't watch it then you have absolutely no right to compare Jack with our overrated and underperforming PL midfield.

our PL midfield is NOT good enough in it's current formation. Bossed time and time again, failing to defend, being hammered by other teams. United walked through it at will. Liverpool embarrassed it horribly at Anfield. Our midfield without Jack IS SWISS CHEESE!!!

Jack is necessary. TBH I don't care WHO makes way for him.

THe only people who can't see this are Wenger and all the FIFA17 players here.

united walked through at will? did you actually watch the game on the weekend?

the only chances they had was when half our team became downsyndrome and gave them the ball. im not even joking when i say that united game was the best footballing performance ive seen from us this season

............... you totally missed what I mean't.

Xhaka and Ramsey are actual CM's, Wilshere is a CAM, what I said was if you are going to play Wilshere as a CM you need a CDM next to him.

Unless your one of those dummies who expects little Jack to be taking down the likes of Yaya Toure and Pogba and end up on the sick again? because that's what CM's / CDM's need to be able to do.

Wenger won't even let Jack go Ice skating and you want to see him with half the teams defensive duties?

........ he'd last a month.

What I said if you read it properly was, sure I'd like Jack in the first team but you need to balance it out depending on where he plays.

........... oh and sorry Ozil is better, I like Jack but he can't run a game against opposition like Tottenham the way Ozil did, Spurs are not Bate.

Settle down.

This was Bate lol...

United walked through our midfield? What?? We actually controlled that match. The difference was our two CBs giving the ball away cheaply.

As for Liverpool, that's the match where Wenger went full r***rd and decided to play Bellerin on right instead of left and and OX on the left, and decided to go with Welbeck instead of Laca.

If you are going to make a case for your argument at least pick the right examples.

I am not a fan of our midfield. I have been asking for upgrade for 3 years now. But people are delusional if they think that Jack Wilshere is the answer.

Fantastic display from the players and Good on them. A few things:

*Welbeck was so bad. It got to the point where I started to cringe every time the ball came to him
*Walcott had a good game. I liked that he was pressing and actually being involved in the buildup
*Elneny was also good. What I wouldn’t give for Xhaka to be able to move like he does. Seriously though what does Elneny have to do to get into the first team
*Wilshere MOTM for me. Seemed like everything went through him
*dat goal by Debuchy :hail: reminded me a bit of rosickys against Sp*r

If I had to rank who’s closest to getting into the starting eleven based on this game alone I’d say:

Wilshere
Walcott
Elneny
Debuchy
Coquelin
Niles
Chambers/Holding
Ospina
Giroud
Willock
Nelson
Nketiah
Welbeck

Needs to be said I Wasn’t paying too much attention to some players but the above is more or less how I felt about each players performance
Ramsdale
(Turner/Hein)
White Saliba Gabriel Zinchenko
(Tomiyasu/Niles) (Timber/Holding) (Trusty/Kiwior) (Tierney/Tavares)
Odegaard(c) —- Rice
(Xhaka/Lokonga) —- (Partey/Elneny)
Havertz
(Jorginho/Vieira)
Saka Jesus Martinelli
(Pepe/Nelson) (Nketiah/Balogun) (Trossard/ESR)

giroud 104 goals
7 of them penaltys
15 penaltys taken in career
1 missed
I would say it's good to have a penalty taker who generally scores them

So is Lacazette's (And I love Lacazette).

Strikers SHOULD take penalties ffs.

How many penalties has Lacazette taken that he didn't win?

27
He won the other 2
This remains some of the greatest load of bollocks I ever heard
Credit where due should not be a difficult concept for an arsenal fan towards an arsenal player

I didn't see the first half but I'd like to see a goal from our striker in a game as open as 4-0.

If Lacazette was playing I'd say the same.
