To be fair Burnley have played well this season. The 3 points were never going to be easy.

I honestly cant understand, what is the issue with an any football fan, if you cant see the difference between Lacazette and Wellbeck..?
Makes me sad
But after all nice important win, no thanks to Wenger, he got saved big time today

Yes was WC against Koln.

yup just like Lacazette today.

Lol the agendas. Next thing we will hear is how the squad performed much better without Ozil today.

Exactly.

My whole point was swapping one bad performance for another = what advantage?

My idea earlier was play both up front but taking off our best shooter is not a good idea.

Giroud isn't even good enough as a sub lol, that reeks of agenda

Also funny how the lack of service is a justifiable excuse for Lacazette but not for Giroud.

I like Lacazette and have always said he will need a season to settle in but today he was poor but still deserves to start next game however it does not change the fact that he was poor today. Why not apply the same standards for every Arsenal player. it is getting ridiculously funny how people love to use the same old scapegoats as punching bags.

Lacazette was crap today and you cant just let im on the pitch when you have a plan B on the bench

Exactly. Why not bring on Giroud who offers a different challenge especially when plan A did not work whatsoever.

lol yeah ;)

I like the dynamism Lacazette brings to our play but when he isn't firing Giroud is the perfect plan but sadly people want him banished from the squad altogether.

When did I say he wasn't good enough as a sub? I said he should come on just not take off Lacazette.

Who said the lack of service was justifiable? i just pointed out lack of service hurts Giroud more than even Lacazette.

You keep fighting the good fight sir.

Guys telling me off for pointing out the obvious even though I said bring Giroud on? but if you want me to pretend swapping Giroud for Lacazette is going to result in 2-0 then sorry I'm not going to talk BS.

Again if he had showed something against Koln then yes, but how is that performance going to be an improvement? as I said one for one is not an improvement ......... so why do it?

Laca still did more than Alexis until the pen.

Bigger problem is Iwobi starting in the team. Absolutely Useless.

Doesn't excuse the horrendous performance ....... without Ozil.

Whether you like him or not, def missed his creativity today, Wilshere added some needed creativity.

Yet another game where Ozil was missing and creativity was missing. Let that be a lesson to those that think we can survive without his creativity

We didn't create as many chances as I had hoped but the result was very gratifying as Burnlry at home is a tough nut to crack.

Happy with the win, not very happy with the underlying problems. How can a squad that cost a couple hundred million have so little creativity about it? Especially considering creativity was always the bread and butter of the manager in charge.

Because the only creators on this team are Alexis and Ozil.

Remove one and the team is left with one person trying to get the breakthrough.

The rest of the players arent good enough technically or IQ wise to carve up the defense.

That speaks for itself. Maybe I should have asked the question differently.

How can one spend hundreds of millions on a squad and have such creative deficiency unless one has completely lost the plot?

Though intended as rhetorical question, I'd be more than happy to see someone come up with an alternate plausible explanation.
