Like in 2015? When their whole season crashed after we beat them?

Watching it in full now. Welbs challenge on moses 25th minute.

Cahill injures one of ours every f***ing time. I wish just once one of ours could take him or Alonso out with an accidental elbow.

At least ospina is on it.

Lacazettes strike off the post oooff so unlucky.

Who else thinks welbs would actually make a great full back?

Watched 20 mins of kolasinac and I'm already convinced he's going to be a stand out for us. Pure power runner.

My thoughts:
- Elneny good performance in midfield. Not the most athletic but is solid all around. Hope to see him more at CM. Still think we need to add a great CM long term.
- Sead is a beast. Hats off to Wenger for this signing. Would like to see him consistently at LWB.
- Ox needs to play on the right or sit on the bench. Adding competition to RWB will also help Bellerin.
- Lacazette getting into the swing of things. Looking forward to the competition between him and Giroud this year.
- AM/wings big need area for me. Alexis/Ozil in last year, and our supporting cast lacks creativity and goals. Would like to see a Lemar/Mahrez type come in to add depth to this area.

Overall, solid performance with good intensity. Will need more depth to keep this intensity up throughout the year (especially factoring Europa).

The problem with Welbeck is his lack of end product. He does not have rhe ability to cross effectively or to pick a pass. Modern day Full backs aren't all about running up and down, they need to be astute at crossing and putting a probing ball in to the box. Welbeck is a lost cause cause he creates more problems than he solves no matter what part of the pitch he is employed.

He could make a good CB, if we tell him to play as a striker for the other team?

Just got back from the game overall a solid performance and the atmosphere was decent.
A few positives things I noticed:
Before Per came off I thought he was solid, Im not normally a fan of his but maybe 3 at the back plays to his strengths.
Monreal was fantastic and our best defender I thought.
Xhaka really pulled the strings in midfield and my word what a strike so unlucky to not score.

A negative:
We struggled to score and didn't score from open play. Hopefully the return of Alexis and Rambo will help this.

God I love kolasinac. Exactly my kind of player. Exactly how I used to play (although obvs infinitely shitter with patchy end product).

Anything on whether this new A-B-B-A penalty order will be put in effect in the Premier League?

Anni-Frid, Björn, Benny and Agneta would be honored

Just got in from this. Sat next to a Chelsea mate but was worth it for the reaction when Pedro got sent off and Kola scored. Managed to take a cheeky film of the glum chavs.

Enjoyed majority of Xhaka's set pieces. Think he should take our corners when Ozil's back.
Elneny was everywhere (the guy doesn't tire).
Iwobi had a couple moments
Bellerin was awful. He's developing into Theo without the goals. Put Ox there for competition.
Laca looked good. Agonisingly close with the effort.

Was there a period in between where Mert came off and we were four at the back? There was a spell before and after half time where we looked lost.

The BBC clearly see it as a trophy.

It's not a trophy unless Mourinho wins it.

How could it be put in effect in a league?

German Supercup didn't have ABBA. It's clearly better way imo. First taker changes every round
