Anni-Frid, Björn, Benny and Agneta would be honored

How could it be put in effect in a league?

German Supercup didn't have ABBA. It's clearly better way imo. First taker changes every round

Woops bad word usage, meant English cup football in general.

Would like people's views on this.....

Very happy win. A lot of solid performers out there but my main shout is Iwobi.. I think he was terrific today. I mean if we are playing the 3-4-3 formation, I think he is much more suited to that role than Ozil.. Iwobi Sanchez and Lacazette will be a very lethal combination. Sometimes I just feel Ozil plays for the sake of it and not generally for the benefit of the team.... Iwobi all round was terrific.

Another shout to Kolisanic, aside from the goal. What a player, he is very comfortable on the ball and I was surprised he did not start.

And once again I am delighted we beat Chelsea's best line up, who only had one player missing compared to our 6,7,8.....

Has to be said that Chelsea weren't great. Considering the talent they have in their squad and the shower of shit we put out (missing ozil, alexis, koscienly and mustafi) they should have hammered us. I think they'll really struggle this season (as champions often do).

I 100% agree whilst Ozil is one of the most technically gifted players in our squad he doesn't put the effort in like Iwobi does.

Had a great day today. Thought the match was great, pissed off when we went 1-0 down, but I could see it coming as we didn't look good at all before and after the break. Kolasinac is just a beast. He looks big enough on TV, but in person, he's just immense. Was disappointed to see a few slate Ox. I and many others there thought he played decent. Pens were good. Courtois one was just hilarious. It went about 20 foot over my head let alone the bar lol.

Deserved the victory though. Just looked better than them for 75% of the match. Conte needs to do some serious work or they've got zilch chance of retaining their trophy. Morata looks very poor. No way a replacement for Costa. I think we certainly got the better deal in strikers this year.

The BBC clearly see it as a trophy.

It's not a trophy unless Mourinho wins it.

It's a competitive match in name only.

In reality it's an exhibition, obviously if we're in it I want to win, but I don't count it as an honour.

I agree, but Mourinho fans on this forum used it last year to glorify him and bash Wenger .

Giroud Walcott and welbeck had previously played 29 mins together for us
Scoring 1 and conceding 0
That goal came from the 7 mins together v Leicester in 15/16 when welbeck scored at the death.
Walcott had equalised earlier
This does not include the 20 mins yesterday where we scored 1 and conceded 0

Thankfully they are suspended otherwise you could only imagine the outrage yesterday.

The way I see it, if you're in it then you want to win it. We all wanted to beat Chelsea yesterday lets face it.

It's not a trophy, no but it's a good game to win before your season starts and you get a shield to go with it. The Spanish, Germans and the French all take their respective pre season game seriously, so should we.

You only had to look at the faces of the Chelseas players to see how down they were about losing. It's never nice to lose at Wembley.

The last time we conceded after scoring after the 81st minute was the home game v Monaco in February 2015
I could go through a plethora of top teams for whom this has happened to since then
I hate this typical arsenal bollocks
It plays totally against the mindset we should be engendering
You have to kill us to beat us
