Result really was a shock to the system in a good way. Was in Finsbury park, so I was absolutely buzzing when the goals went in, and so was the whole place afterwards as well.

Shades of the 3-0 against United last season when Walcott, Sanchez and Ozil were similarly unplayable.

If not the stadium, a watering hole near the stadium is probably the 2nd best place to have been yesterday.

I watched the whole game with two toddlers running about, not ashamed to admit I was standing up for the whole game.

Will Probs rewatch the match at some point today once my duty is done.

Iwobi's link up play and assist for the second was just so fecking good, I cant believe how quality he is for his age, we're talking about a player who has only started 11 times at a top level. Its such a silver lining, because Sanchez can play upfront in the false 9 and we dont even have to spend 30 odd million on another left winger.

Haven't seen the game yet, I'm downloading it as I type.

So looking forward to it.

I was convinced we'd get beaten by Chelsea, was shocked when I heard the result in the pub last night.

Well done to the lads.

Ever since Henry I've been a huge fan of the false no9 striker, they can't be marked properly because the CB gets dragged all over the pitch and if they have pace they can attack you from anywhere.

Even Gervhino made that position look good when Wenger used him as a false no9 against Southampton way back.

If Sanchez can pull it off I'm all for it but I'd need to see more results to be convinced he can do it full time.

Not really btw.

We have not lost a game on the 24 th sept since 1988 when we lost 2-1 at Sheffield Wednesday
We went on to win the league

Wenger has won 20 times against chelsea and we have scored 69 goals

That was the best 45mins of football we've played since we beat Man Utd.

Once again the reason we could play that way, quick, mobile, overlapping passing, 1-2's etc is because we had a striker up front who could suit that play.

If we had Giroud in either of those games we don't perform that way, this has always been the frustration, how can we play like that when we have a striker who halts that pace and momentum every time he gets the ball.

Giroud is a failed experiment and he's had the ST limelight all this time.

I'd rather have Perez, Sanchez and Welbeck as our teams ST, regardless we can play similar style football with all three of them.

Giroud should be sold imo and we can move on from this mediocrity, sell him to a team that plays crosses ....... just sell him.

You need a mobile striker to get the best out of that passing though for the final 3rd, Perez or Sanchez just don't start Giroud ffs.
