Im normally a fan of Monreal but he has been shocking thus season and deserves to be dropped.

Monreal has been our best left back by a mile since Ashley Cole.
He had a shocker against liverpool and played a 6/10 performance vs watford and you want him dropped. :naughty:

Bellerin was truly awful yesterday, his passing was tragic gave away the ball away a number of times and what bothers me most about him his crossing ability is truly awful he needs to massively improve this. He hasn't quite come back at the level we all expected hopefully he dosnt Plato like a few of our squad memebers

Bellerin and Monreal both need to be dropped simply to give them a wake up call. Can't have players getting relaxed with a first team spot unless they're truly world class

Bellerin was brilliant and Monreal was at worst average yesterday. Mugs.

Bellerin was good he just can't cross

Monreal needs a new arsehole after being ripped to shreds by Amrabat

How do you expect him to cross to a non existent CF with no height and a winger who won't make far post runs?

Problem is with it is that he doesn't bother drilling crosses either, always floats it

If Giroud's not playing just fizz it in the box rather than fly it over everyone's head

Alexis had a great game yesterday but if there was a natural Striker available we could have scored a couple more from the crosses Theo whipped in to the box from right. There was nobody bursting the lungs to get to the end of them. Strikers have that instinct where they are always on the vigil, looking to get to the end of them.

Giroud makes a difference because he is the only one with Striker's instinct in our team, rest are all converted Strikers who play like wingers through the middle. Perez has played only one season as a Striker and i am waiting to see how instinctive he can be inside the box. There are some things which are part of your game only when you have spent a significant amount of time executing them repeatedly week in week out. If you see Rashford's goal you will realize how he made that goal look so easy with his run and movement. If Perez doesn't posses those instincts i guess we should stop crossing in plain hope.

Did Özil not drop deep once in the game yesterday? Was great to see him always in an attacking position rather than having to come to the ball

The difference a player makes

He did that one time he was pushed back about 10m and then lost it in the middle. Alexis dropped back a couple of times but for the majority both of them played in the final third which was good to see

Having two players in the middle you can trust to pick a ball out does that. Was great to see

He was very good against Leicester, so you want him dropped after two poor games.

We have a knee-jerk thread just so you know.

He has been directly at fault for at least 3 goals this season. As a defender that just isn't good enough.
