Hopefully Iwobi kicks on, an invaluable asset next season for us

Santi was in there to get match fitness.

A week ago Wenger said he doesn't think Santi will be ready until the end of August.

If that's the case we might see an attacking three of Oxlade-Chamberlain, Iwobi and Campbell behind Walcott against Liverpool.

They played Inter.....

We played a pub side consisting of a dustbin man, fisherman and one I think was an actual Viking.

Dont wonna be negative, but in the 2nd half Viking was playing with their second team. Think they are ine norwegian 3rd division. Viking have an important game on sunday, so they didnt put much in this, except from the money they got from the audience. They are close to bankrupt.

I don't think anyone was claiming that they were any decent, but nonetheless we looked bright and took our chances well. Scoring eight goals is always worth smiling about no matter the opposition.

Disaster if we want to sign someone.

What's our record lol?

Last time was in 2008 when we beat burgenland 10-2 in austria
Wilshere got 2 goals and 2 assists and Walcott came on and scored and assisted

We were only playing a Norwegian team who are probably no better than Barnsley.

Featuring seaman, Dixon winterburn. Bould adams, wright, smith, merson

Akpom should have had 2. What impressed me was how he was always chasing down rebounds, his goal was the third time I noticed him chasing it down. He has a real striker's instinct. None of this winger playing in the middle bullshit.

Holding and Bielik look like solid defenders. They just need the experience to test them more.

Zelalem looked better today than I've seen him since his breakout preseason. Looked confident on the ball and was taking risks with his forward passes.

My team for Liverpool right now:

Akpom
Alexis--Santi--Campbell
Xhaka--Coquelin
Nacho--CB--CB--Hector
Cech

Not sure which CBs are available?

Willock youngest 18
Reine adelaide 18
Bielik18
Zelalem 19
Iwobi 20
Akpom 20
Holding20
Bellerin 21
Oxlade chamberlain 22

Bielik is younger than holding and chambers? Wow, he doesn't play like that. I assumed he was early 20s too.

He's great for an 18 yr old CB!

walcott
Alexis--Santi--Campbell
Xhaka--Coquelin
Nacho--Chambers--gabriel--Hector
Cech

I recon Walcott will start, with Akpom coming on on 65 mins to save the day.

It'll be Chambers and Gabriel at cb on experience alone.

Holding technically has more experience.

At this point I wouldn't rule out Monreal at CB with Gibbs on the left
