We should put them firmly in their place at the Bernabeu, I am entirely unconvinced by Real Madrid this season and with Rice finding a bit of form and having Saka back, Real will be in a worries !!

If any team can mount a comeback it's this real team. Best in Europe. We need to stay professional.

Yeah I'm not sure whether we go out and play our normal game or be compact, suffocate their space which is what Madrid need to cut through us.

Arteta has an almighty decision to make.

My fear is two fold, we play more open and they get a goal and all hell breaks loose without Gabriel in defence......

.....or, we sit too deep and can't get out from the back and are fighting for our lives for 90mins.

Out of the two options, I think if we defend deep but Martinelli, Saka and Merino break on the counter.....I don't see Madrid getting 3 goals past an organised defence and our midfield.

My biggest fear tonight is conceding penalties. I'm confident our defense will keep out goals from open play.

My biggest fear is giving away stupid fouls and get a sent off. Hope our younger players keep their impulses in check. It'll be a loaded atmosphere.

Play every defender Arteta has bought and put them all behind the ball. Dont even try to score.

I fully expect we will play for control and press but with slightly less urgency in attack and a bit more concerned with closing the lines for counter attacks.

We're a solid defensive unit without needing to park the bus. Dominate the ball, dominate with our physicality and the tie is dead.
