Could be a stern test.

It will be , but it's really simply for us, we have to win these games and I think we know it as a team.
Every week is a massive game.

this isn't a "prediction" but seems were due to have one of those games/streaks where we score in bunches...

and it could also be a stern test....

Not worried if Saka is out for this perfect game for Stirling or Jesus to start wide

Home record this year
Lost narrowly to Chelsea
Drew with Newcastle
Beat Southampton.

We'll enter favourites to win - rightly so - but this is most certainly a game where we could drop points.
As we have seen time and time again - the big clubs only have to drop level a small amount to run into trouble against the lesser teams in the PL.

With another very tough run coming after - Liverpool H, Chelsea A and Newcastle A its certainly a game we can not afford to drop pts in.

This should be a comfortable win for us. We have scored twice as many goals as them and we haven't got out of second gear yet.

Football matches are not won on paper though.

I would like to see a midfield of Rice, Nwaneri and Merino but I suspect Trossard will play the Odegaard role again.

Every game has to be treated like a big game.
We lost pts last year in some 'smaller' matches that cost us the title.

Didn't see Timber in the practice session clips posted by the club. Any news of his fitness?
Of course didn't find Zinchenko ( presumably fit again) , Saka or Havertz either. Worries me if we can't field a decent roster of at least 18 players for this game.

Arteta confirmed Thomas Partey is fit but they will "have to see" on Gabriel Martinelli after he only arrived back from international duty on Thursday.

He said Bukayo Saka's injury is "not serious" and they are "hopeful" he will be available for the weekend, while Kai Havertz has "had a few issues, but we are dealing with that" and he could also be included against Bournemouth.

Meanwhile, Ben White, Jurrien Timber and Oleksandr Zinchenko "are quite close" and they are going to have to "push and see" as the team have been "struggling for numbers, especially in our right side".

On Martin Odegaard's recovery from his ankle injury: "Next week will be a different story but in that late stage of the rehab - where he is at the moment - he is already doing a lot of stuff. He needs to clear some markers. He needs to feel comfortable, especially with the ball. I think next week will be crucial to see how close he is."

Very interested to see what the lineup will be, will Miles-Skelley get a start, will Merino?

What about Sterling starting for Martinelli, will Nwaneri get game time?

These questions and many others will be answered on the next episode of ........... Arsenal.

Your average Premier League club has around five or six players either struggling with injury, suspended, or otherwise unavailable for this weekend’s fixtures, but AFC Bournemouth are an anomaly.

Bournemouth have just one injury ‘concern’ ahead of their game against Arsenal, with Tyler Adams having missed their start to the season with a back problem.

But even Adams is expected to be fit in time for Saturday’s match.
