Job done and PSG didn't have a chance.

I'm almost disappointed however, an easy game is good for us.

Professional performance.

Took our foot off the gas in the second half and the problem with that is, if PSG get one goal they have the wind in their sails and we would likely struggle to raise our level again.

Great win although have only listened to it rather than seen it. Really hope Timber is ok as he is turning out to be every bit the player I thought/hoped he could be. Can't believe how far we have come; not getting excited or carried away, but there was a line somewhere in the Guardian feed where it said that 3 years ago we weren't even in Europe - now we are one of the best teams in Europe. That remains to be seen but it's so nice to be challenging again.
Good old Arsenal, we're proud to say that name

Agree
This team seems to have everything.
We can play, we can score, set piece demons attacking and defending, we can defend, we can play rough, we can stand up to any attempts at intimidation.
We certainly have all the tools now and it's a far cry from where we were 5 years ago.

Need competition for Havertz at CF .
Your are off with the 5 years I would say 10 at least.
It's a great squad missing one more piece

We're stacked in the forward positions.
There isn't anyone as good as Havertz available and very few that are not.
Maybe we bring in another back up, maybe not.
Doesn;t really matter that much.

Gyökeres or Sesko needed to offer something different, the killer striker type we dont have.

I love Kai, thing is hes a unique player who coukd work well in a different position even playing next to a killer!

Another great game from Kai btw. Selling Gabriel Jesus is more important to get a new killer attacker.

Haaland is breaking every goal scoring record going apart from Arsenals because he don't play there but Havertz is the best there is.
If you put Havertz and Haaland up for sale same price how many clubs do you think will but Havertz over Haaland.
Arteta would probably take Haaland

Quit with the ‘ but Haaland’ nonsense.

Quite simply Havertz is one of the best right now.
No caveats required.
Enjoy.

Haaland is a anomaly. He also has to be built heavily around and scores ALL the teams goals.

Man City have scored 14 goals in the league with Haaland getting 10 of them. Only 3 other players have 1 each. If he gets injured they are screwed and have to completley change their tactics in the final 3rd.

Havertz special anomaly is he's 5-6 players in one with the football IQ better than even legends like Thomas Müller. He's not just a striker who scores goals, he setups up numerous goals with assists and playmaking. Plus holds the ball up and works like crazy defensivley.

I know theres mamy fans biased to love Martinelli, thing is having a guy like Havertz gives space for Martinelli to score more but he hasant enough. Thats a far bigger problem. Firmino never scored that much either in Klopp's peak Liverpool era but Salah and Mane scoring like they did off his hard work made that irrelivent.

We dont necessarily even need to buy an out and out striker. A wide attacker who gets 25 goals a season would be just as effective.

I think the way City played 3 years ago they'd have won the game against us because they had far more threat across the front line.
I still think they can revert to that style if they want to, should Haaland be injured.
We saw it last year when Haaland was out. They scored more goals per game and won more pts per game.
The way they play now is a clear choice to leverage Haalands strength directness and clever movement - BUT, as I have said before, I think it makes them more vulnerable over a season to dropping points, especially against the better defences.
