we weren't imposing enough really. we had some chances after Rice got sent off, but then we need to leverage our attacking prowess better. we haven't been outstanding in three games, but that's not issue. City hasn't either but they've been clinical. Liverpool were mid vs. Ipswich and Brentford.

yes, there are fine margins since City will be strong but it's only three games. We move on to Spurs. they're still easy to play against.

Ref had a poor game overall and I dread to think what he'll be like being in charge of a NLD.

It's the lack of consistency and common sense in these situations that has highlighted how poor the refs in this country really are, don't get me started on VAR.

The fact that Jao Pedro boots the ball away and gets nothing highlights the issue here. If you're applying the law you can't pick and choose where to apply it, why was that not a yellow and the Rice one was...?

That ref couldn't wait to send him off simple as that. Veltman knew exactly what he was doing and despite the ball still moving just decided to boot our player. If you actually take out the bias he should have seen a straight red for a kick out.

The margins are so small but despite the circumstance a point is a good one against a decent Brighton team.

The crazy and extreme decisions that go against us are not a coincidence, IMO.
