Martinelli, Jesus and Saka are all able to score, that will create constant problems to the opposition defenders. Also occasionally xhaka and Odegaard can also score.

I expect arsenal to claim all 3 points in every game until facing the big four.

I'd be tempted to rest Saliba whilst his confidence is high. This should be a straightforward win with Tomiyasu at right back and White back in the middle. We don't want to overplay a 21 year old too early in the season or he'll end up like Wilshere and co.

Also, if he makes another mistake it'd be harder to rotate him as people would say he was 'dropped' rather than 'rested' and his confidence might drop.

We have so many games this season i highly doubt players will moan unless they don't play at all. Saliba while our best defender wont play every game.

Center backs rarely have to run, why rest?

Cos he's 21 and it's a long season.

He played 52 games last season and over 4700 minutes. He had the most minutes played at Marseille. League games, cup games, Europe.... 90 minutes for most games.

Saka and Ramsdale were the players with most minutes for us last season and that was just over 3300 minutes.

Saliba should be fine.

He's played 2 games

He's fine. Dropping him after an OG would destroy his confidence.

If he had a stinker of a game after that OG then fair enough. He didn't.

On we go

Would be very Arteta like though. 'Ben White is my first choice/self picked CB, Tomiyasu is fit so off goes Saliba'. I can totally see him have that thought process.

Im just happy the media are hyping him up too so Arteta will look like a real clown if and when he drops him.

If Tomi is to make a comeback then one of Gabi, White or Saliba will have to be dropped, and let's not pretend Leicester was a good defensive performance. It wasn't.

I wouldn't drop Saliba next match, but he must be as accountable as the others.

Then off to the bench White should go.

Dont get me wrong, play bad = get benched. I dont care who it is. Thing is, Saliba is playing GREAT. Yeah, there was a f**k up with the own goal, but he oozes world class aura.

Wouldn't want to overplay a 21 year old centre back? After two matches?

Unless it's the late 1980s and he happens to be club captain and playing nearly every game?

Agreed. I wouldn’t drop him after the OG.

I'd give Nketiah a start, playing up top w/ GJ as WF :sneaky2: Save Saka/Martinell for the second half.

It's Bournemouth, we should be fine. I don't want Eddie turning into another £100kpw bench player /

Start the strongest team and then rest players once it's won.

Eddie and co will have plenty of game time in the cup competitions.
