Could be a hard game if our work rates match yesterday's game. Palace look pretty well organised and press as a unit.

Must win game really. At home against Palace.

Tough game, Palace have improved a lot since the start of the season.

It is a tough game, but if our players perform on the day we should win.

...and every Arsenal and every other team in the PL.
Every team, no matter how good, goes into PL games knowing that they have to be on their game or they could very well lose.
I am sure, for example, some misguided Liverpool fans thought that the Brentford game would be easy, or some misguided City fans thought the home game against Southampton would be easy...

I wish it was as straightforward as some fans seem to think it should be, but it isn't.

Big Pat to shit on Don Mikel. Palace actually look a decent watch under him than the owl. Wouldn't be surprised if we draw here yet again

Just put eduard as captain in my fantasy team. That should keep him from scoring :sneaky:

Tomiyasu/???--White/Saliba--Gabriel/???--Tierney/Tavares
Partey/Sambi--???/???
Saka/Pepe--Odegaard/ESR--Smith Rowe/Martinelli

If we go on the offensive early, we can catch them by surprise like we did Spurs. If Vieira figures out that he can shut us down by hogging the ball, that's at minimum an easy point for Palace.

MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head

Arsenal have lost just one of the past eight meetings (W3, D4).
However, they have failed to win on each of the last three occasions they've hosted Palace (D2, L1).
Crystal Palace have won only four of their 42 league fixtures against Arsenal (D13, L25), all of which have come in the top flight.

Arsenal

Arsenal are unbeaten in four league games (W3, D1), keeping a clean sheet in three of them.
The Gunners have scored just five goals in their opening seven league games, their fewest at this stage of a season since 1986-87.
Mikel Arteta's side have lost four of their 14 Premier League home fixtures in 2021 - they haven't fared worse in a calendar year since six defeats in 1997.
Arsenal have won their last seven Premier League home matches played on a Monday, scoring 15 goals and conceding just two.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored seven goals in eight Premier League appearances on a Monday.

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace have lost just one of their past six games in the Premier League (W1, D4).
Nonetheless, they have won only one of their last nine away league fixtures (D2,L6).

We need to win this or questions need to be asked with urgency.

We drew to Brighton, we can't not win this match.

If so it just proves we're not improving enough under Arteta, hopefully the lads win.
