Arteta in one corner, Unai Emery in the other. Two managers afraid of conceding. No idea how this pans out. Unai gave us a lifeline when he took off a striker for Coquelin. If we don't concede in the first half like the last tie, he could panic and go really defensive again.

Think it was the refs that gave us a lifeline more than anything. We didn't threaten in the 2nd half, we just looked better because the first half was one of the worst in our history.

Kronke is not going anywhere win or lose.
And to be fair a bunch of old boys reminiscing about old time (as good as they may have been) scares me, as soon as their ideas go south where is the cash coming from Ek dont have enough.and the personalities of Henry, viera,Bergkamp and AW to many alpha in that lot to run anything

Hoping we win but I don't think it will be the walkover some people think it is, it could all end in tears.

I think it can go either way. I can’t see us replicating the second leg against Prague.

The first goal is crucial in this match. If we score, they have to come out as we will be winning on away goals, if they score, it's 1-3 with equal away goals and us needing to score 3 to win it. The away goals rule does shift the outcome dramatically during the course of these games. I remember watching leverkusen v United in a CL tie, I think the final score was 5-4 or something, but every goal that was scored switched presssure to the opposite team.

This. Which is why we need our best goal threats starting from the first whistle. I want to see:

Ryan
Cedric Holding Gabriel Tierney
Partey
Saka —- Odegaard—- ESR —- Martinelli
Lacazette(c)

Aubameyang for Lacazette if Lacazette’s not fit
Cedric for Tierney if Tierney’s not fit and Bellerin at RB
Aubameyang, Pepe, and Balogun at the ready in case things go south
Xhaka, Elneny, and Mari at the ready in case things go according to plan

MASSIVE game and I swear if I see Xhaka start at LB, I’ll fly over to London and literally kick Arteta out of the club myself.
Leno
(Runarsson/Macey)
Bellerin Saliba Gabriel Tierney
(Cedric/Niles) (Holding/Mustafi) (Mari/Sokratis) (Kolasinac/Bola)
Xhaka
(Elneny/Luiz)
Partey —- Ceballos
(Torreira/Matteo) --- (Ozil/Willock)
Pepe -------------------- Auba(c)
(Willian/ESR) -------------------- (Saka/Nelson)
Lacazette
(Martinelli/Nketiah)

If and that's IF we win, the manure will tear us a new one in the final, if we lose the Kroenke's won't give a toss.

im not so sure. we love a final and seem to step up.

plus we took 4 points from them this season and our form has been good against them over the past few years.

I honestly think we’ll do a job on them tonight. They wasn’t very good at all tbh, and our team will be stronger and with home advantage.

4-3-3 with Partey-ESR-Odegaard looks good, Xhaka at lb gonna be humiliated yet again tho. Mari also a bit iffy.
