It may well of been ......... at the time I thought different because of the timing of it (straight after they scored the 3rd), it seemed like mocking at the time.

An easy mistake to make if it was one, considering opposition fans have been jibing us for seasons now with "We want you to stay" but apparently just the mere thought of a misinterpretation is enough for some to be rude about it and ott rather than saying "No, I think it was genuine" apparently that's not enough anymore.
